I already said this on the tweets, but happy birthday, Sir Wil Wheaton! I “sang” this song on my tweet, too, though it’s much cooler from the source: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fxmX230bzc
I wish I would get some cool tweets on my 38th birthday next month but being an introverted geek it would just make me blush so nevermind. I hope it’s been a most excellent day for you!

Well, it probably won’t be today, but tomorrow will most likely be my daughter’s birthday.
    So that’s pretty close.
    Have a happy birthday.

Happy Birthday!!! Here, I’ve got a present of sorts for you.
So, I turned my husband (who is about a year and a half older than you) on to your Radio Free Burrito podcasts–I burned them onto CD and he’s been listening to them in the car on the way to work, or we listen to them together when we’re out running errands.
The other day, I go in his office and see him sitting there leafing through one of his old D&D books, the dungeon master’s guide, I think.
And tells me that listening to you talk about running delves totally made him want to play again. The next day, he calls me while I’m out running errands to ask me where his dice are.(At one point, I’m sure he couldn’t imagine not knowing exactly where there were at all times, but that was before I got my hands on them in my quest for organization and he hasn’t used them in quite a while)
And when I get home, and go into the living room, there on the coffee table is a stack of all his D&D books, and his box of dice, and some of his old skool character sheets, and he’s all, let’s roll some new characters.
Me, I’ve only played D&D a few times–and that was a long time ago. But he used to play all the time as a kid, and I have to say, I’m really happy he’s excited about it and I’m looking forward to learning how to play with him.
And it’s all YOUR fault! :-)

Happy Birthday Wil. May this next year be as fun, filled with employment, and prosperous than last year. Hoping to get into the delve at ECCC next year.

My daughter (Lilah) was just born this morning. When she’s older, I can tell her that she shares a birthday with you! (Once I explain who you are)
If I had seen this post earlier, we could have named her Wilhelmina, or Willa, or Willow (I like that one, actually)
    Anyway, Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Wil! Thanks again for a totally AWESOME wOOtstock last week! And my brother (whose birthday was 5 days ago) loves the picture I took of you and his Birthday sign. Thanks for being awesome.

Happy Birthday Wil. Wow it only seems like yesterday when I found your blog. Maybe I’ll have to stick my STAND BY ME Special Edition DVD and watch you. My favorite lines? There are so many of them! BTW did you see the WillPower newsletter that my friend tweeted? I have every single newsletter and etc. (I have a folder full of articles, pinups and etc of you when you were a teen idol of the 80′s and early 90′s) I’m only missing my WillPower T-Shirt I lost…So happy birthday Wil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy birthday Wil!!! Just wanted to let you know that my youngest niece is in labor with my great nephew, Mathew, as we speak. If her labor goes fast, you may have another birthday buddy.

Here’s hoping you have an incredible birthday today! Today is also my mom’s bday. She’s 76 today. She’s very cool — just like you are, of course! :D

Happy Birthday Wil! Loved every moment of W00tstock 2.4 and hope to see more in the future. I’ve told all my friends [which are sadly not geeks] about the experience and cackled with glee about it for the past week! They think I’m a bit mad but in a totally good way.

    Wil -
Best of annual celebrations to you! Ummm… you do realize in that depiction you’re down 6 of the usual digits, yes?
To celebrate, since I’m an Indy native, how about I treat you to the only all-vegetarian buffet in town (it’s Indian) when you’re at GenCon next weekend? Surely at some point you’ll need fresh air and sunlight…?

Happy birthday good sir! So sad to not have been able to make Comic-con. I’ll be sure to drink something from the Stone Brewery, and perhaps bake something (non-bee containing) in your honor.
Oh, since I can’t provide you anything awesome except via the interwebs, I would like to point out to you that you are currently the 76th most followed account on twitter. I love that your “what to expect when you follow me on Twitter” post dates itself by listing a scant 53k follows. But don’t worry, the rate of people looking at your socks hasn’t increased as much. Only 9300 persons have :)

Happy 38th Wil. One more year and you will be as old as Ronald Reagan. He always said he was 39 and holding. Wishing you a long and prosperous life. \\ // _

That’s Awesome! I also wish you the happiest of Birthdays and thanks for making the world a better place. Cool watch and hope you enjoy The Wall. Birthdays are best when surrounded by friends and family. oxoxoxoxoxoxo

From the early, early posts as described in ‘Just a Geek’ to the present, you seem to have come a long way. A much happier, fuller, well-rounded personality. A kind of media personality we really like. How many Hollywood stars won a fan base on a people-level? Congratulations. Nice work! Keep moving up!
