I want to thank and celebrate all the first responders, front-line service workers, public health officials, doctors, nurses, and medical care providers who are risking their lives every single day. You are the heroes we need, and when this is all over, I hope there are massive public displays of gratitude for everything you are doing for us.

I don't care about the NFL or the game, but oh my god do I love love love love love how outraged and furious and unhinged all these toxic right wing idiots are about Taylor Swift and her boyfriend the football guy.
Mind your business, and don’t be a dick.

If not now, when?
We in Labor aren’t hurting our industry. We’re fighting to save it from predatory sociopaths who will gleefully watch people lose their homes and go hungry, rather than release 2% of their grotesque wealth to ensure a healthy industry for everyone.
Don’t thank us just stay indoors and leave some toilet roll in the stores
🖖
Agreed.
I hope those heroes hear “thank yous” everywhere they work, every day; impossible to thank them enough.
Don’t know if it’s practical over your side of the pond but us British ‘obbits have been up to, obviously don’t put yourself at risk but show your gratitude

There should be a toilet paper parade in Times Square!
I’ve never been much in favor of holidays named for famous people; not because they don’t deserve it but because there is only 365 days to honor all of the millions in the past who have done the right thing. As an exception to that, we need a holiday or maybe a week, a monument and much more dedicated to the front line people who take care of us day in and day out and are now dying for the sake of us.
Thank you, Wil. ❤️❤️
Voting in ways that would improve the lives of essential workers would be an amazing show of gratitude. It may even help to rebuild the middle-class in the US, as well. Most of the people that’ve thanked me seem to do so with an air of condolences. I appreciate the sentiment, it’s clear they recognize the extra risks we’re taking, but I worry that people will be so eager to return to “normal” that they’ll forget that the status quo isn’t great for the majority of people they’ve been thanking. Hopefully, my fears will be baseless and this event will trigger a movement of conscientious actions going forward. It would be nice if folks would argue over the best way to improve their neighbors’ lives, rather than which neighbors’ needs they can safely ignore….
Here in Spain every day at 8pm we dedicate an applause to all these people!
Many thanks to those who are on the front lines tending to the sick and coordinating relief efforts. Also thank you to the researchers who feel they aren’t working fast or hard enough to find a therapeutic to be able to treat everyone. Stay safe.
Thank you Will, and thank you to all helpers who are working so hard right now!
Thanks Will – my daughter is a first year nurse and this is all too real. She is in a Rehab and Recovery and so far so good, but waiting for the other shoe to drop is heavy. I can’t imagine the young men and women experiencing their first year in a hospital. Thanks for always being nice.
Agreed! *claps loudly
Hear, hear! Sometimes, just making it through is enough. It gets you a little closer, and then you just keep going.
Well it is about time someone thanked me!
You’re welcome – but really, I’m just doing my job. I do have to dress funny, though.
Agreed, there should be massive showings of gratitude. Ideally, all their debt should also be wiped clean, but maybe that’s just me who feels that way.
Very interesting, thank you Wil for sharing
Stay safe and healthy
