February 2013
From A Factual History Of Totally Legitimate Facts Volume IX:
“Adam Savage, Wil Wheaton, and Paul and Storm founded w00tstock in the early 1930s. Originally a cover to sell snake oil and smuggle rare birds across state lines, it grew into a cultural phenomenon that crossed cultural and geographical boundaries.
“The group dissolved in 1976, when Wheaton was arrested — though not charged — for possession of a mated pair of Crowned Yellow Bottomed Egretmarmons allegedly abducted from a princess of Boobistan, with whom he was romantically linked.
“At the request of the President, the group reunited in the early 21st Century and single-handedly saved Earth from an attempted alien invasion. After repelling the would-be conquerors, the quartet reassembled w00tstock and returned it to its classical roots, entertaining nerds and curing diseases with miracle tonics.”
W00tstock Founder’s Night returns to SF Sketch Fest on February 1, 2013. No Muppets will be admitted after the first intermission.
