Anne and I are raising money for the Pasadena Humane Society, by taking our pets on their annual Wiggle Waggle Walk. We’re just over halfway to our fundraising goal, and we hope you’ll help get us across the finish line by September 30.
Everything you ever wanted to know about it is in this post here, and if you wanted to see why we love rescue pets as much as we do, check out Anne’s new Tumblr, Rescue Pets Are Awesome.
Thanks for your support!!
I’ve always thought that there should be a place for everyone to brag about their dogs. (Not too sure about cats.) So, because I am easily amused by creating web sites that nobody visits, I created http://www.hereismydog.com as a place to do that. And the first ‘box’ is links to pet rescue organizations.
Besides, I like the picture of me and my dog in the logo.
I like cats. Visit http://www.asmchicago.org for a picture of a Kitteh!

Wil,
We got our dog Coco just a year ago from a Kill Shelter in San Diego called the Bark Lot. Her name is Coco and she is a Bichon Poodle mix. She’s a great 2 year old and we couldn’t believe she didn’t find a home. Happy to make a $250 donation…

Hi Wil, I know this isn’t the right place to do this, but I just had something to say.
I did not know anything about you before I started to read Just a Geek. However, it is so surreal to be reading about you… written by you… and unlike most other biographies… then feeding back TO you. I am only halfway through reading but my curiosity brought me to your site.. because it is cool to see something mentioned in a book “In real life”… like being able to visit holy grounds written about in the Bible for Christians…
I find your book very interesting even though I am only 18, never watched Star Trek… although yes I can relate somewhat because I am a Geek. What suprised me is hearing you talk about you learning some basic web scripting and then coming and seeing you’re using WordPress! Ah well, I guess I’m not up to the part where you started becoming successful again 😛
The last time I was reading your book was on the bus to college this morning after the most terrible night’s sleep I have known. I must’ve been really tired, because there was a tear in my eye when you mentioned how emotional you felt being in the “Museum of the Future” during a con.
I hope you don’t expect to see some direction to come out of this post, I am simply typing whatever comes into my mind because of the excitement of being able to do something like this, and you might actually see.
Anyway, I actually know relatively little about you, but as its OK to go researching a celebrity, that is what I am going to do. I would like to see something you have acted in, or recognise you in something I watch. Don’t think that I am “someone who hasn’t heard of you somehow”… I barely watch TV, I am too much of a geek… and furthermore a nerd for that. TV generally bores me, but their are exceptions 😛
I’m going to be quiet and be glad I could do this, I just wanted to know things don’t feel good for me right now and if anything it is good to know the somewhat personal feelings of another to know I’m still human xD
Take care,
Nathaniel
