50,000 Monkeys at 50,000 Typewriters Can't Be Wrong

31.12.02

  • random thoughts

The first thought in my head this morning was, “man, I have to pee!”
The second thought was, “where the hell did the year go?”
2002 was an amazing year for me. It was a year of discovery and a year of transformation. I am very grateful that I have been able to share this time with all the WWDN readers. You have all been an integral part of this year. Thank you for sharing it with me.
Happy New Year, everyone. Please be safe tonight. See you in 2003.

The first thing I thought this morning was: “What am I going to do? I really fucked up this time. I’m surprised that I even got any sleep after what I did to a human life.” The second thing I though was: “My goodness! I think I accidentally put my visa card in the crisper last night. Better go get it then.”

Wow, the start of a new year. My dad’s reading some Star Trek novels and my moms cooking up a storm, and me? Oh im just here typing away wishing everyone on the WWDN website a Merry New Year. 2003 is going to be BIG. I hope school wont be so hard. Well this is my first time posting a comment on the WWDN website. I thought that today would be an appropriate time. Im a newbie on this site but I hope im a regular! Hope everything goes well in this new year. Live Long And Prosper. Revelation 21:5–And he who sat upon the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” Also he said, “Write this, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

Happy New Year to you as well Wil. Going to be a calm night here, just me and my brother home. It’s supposed to snow, then freezing rain, then rain so we aren’t going anywhere. Just going to have a regular old Mario Kart battle marathon… Have a good one… see you next year!

Not trying to depress anyone just my true thoughts:
My 2002 was ok, but not so for others close to me so here`s what I wish for next year.
    1. That an 0+ liver shows up sooner rather than later.
    2. That the surgery and aftermath go as well as possible and
    3. That whatever dark thing gave a two year old cancer, *again*, will decide he`s had a enough and let the poor kid live a long and happy life from now on.
    4. While I`m at it, I hope that they find a cure or a vaccine or something so that other people don`t have to go through all of this.
Sorry to dampen the parade everyone. It`s hard not to be down when you are stuck spending New Year`s Eve in a Ronald McDonald house in another town where most people we meet don`t speak English well. But the Dad has to work so here I am with the kid and his Mom. I really hope things go up from here.

    Wil,
I just wanted to let you know how much I’ve enjoyed reading your site. I hope this next year will just as great, if not greater for you & your family.
Also, you’d be proud to know I put my WWDN sticker on the bumper of my big-butt van. My brother sent it to me (he reads your site too).
So people if you see me out in PA & see it on the back give me a honk (I promise not to give the “bird”).
    Happy holidays to everyone!!!

discovered blogging and started my own…
bought a digital camera and re-discovered a love of photography…
went to my first Star Trek convention…
moved into my very own apartment…
    It’s been an eventful year!
Happy New Year to Wil, Anne, Nolan, Ryan, and Ferris too!

Wil, Arthur Bloch once said of acting: “Whatever happens, look as if it were intended.”
Somehow, that just seemed like a semi-optimistic way of looking at 2002.
As for 2003, day by day, baby. 🙂

2002 had it’s ups and downs. The ups include finding WWDN… The downs include the outcome of the mid season elections… Oh well, at least the good points outweigh the bad points…
    I hope everyone has a great 2003…
and if you must drink and drive, drink Dr. Pepper.
