50,000 Monkeys at 50,000 Typewriters Can't Be Wrong

Tokyo Disneyland on one dollar short a day

  • random thoughts

Ben and Mena Trott are the amazing people who wrote Moveable Type, the blogging software that has allowed me to take what’s in my head and share it with the world.
Mena is also one hell of an artist, as illustrated by these pictures from their recent trip to Tokyo Disneyland.

    Hey Wil,
I just finished Book of Days. It’s a cute movie.
    I. actually. cried. a. bit.
The dialogue was a bit forced. But absolutely loved your performance.
Congrats. Man, we love you. How can all these monkeys be wrong?

Have you ever been to Disneyland in Anaheim, and walked up to the Magic Kingdom, and after seeing this Magic Kingdom up close, thought that it was awfully small? I mean, in print ads, on TV, and at the theater, they make it look SOOOO big. Growing up, I always thought that this place took up the whole damn sky! What a downer.
    Anywho, wonderful pictures.
    Now, go to bed.

Nitey nite from Round Rock, TX!

I just finished watching the book of days. Excellent movie. It was no “Stand By Me”, but it was still a good movie. And a great performance by Uncle Willie! Rick Berman is probably kicking himself in the ass after viewing this movie. More then likely and probably now be deprived of sex, by Jeri (Seven of Nine) Ryan for screwing up and cutting you from ST X.

Everyone has done a great job on this web-site. Gul, I mean the disney thing is always fun.
Dude, you scare me sometimes. Remember, you have 2 kids and not 10. Don’t forget that you have a prestigous wife too.

Book of Days.. Who wrote that #^%$#? The story was good, but it was so poorly written. I couldn’t sit through the whole thing. I really tried. Will, you were really good… In fact, everyone was.. Blame the writers! I think you have a lot more talent and should stay away from TV movies, movies like this will kill your career.
I was excited to see this movie, the idea and plot were great. When I read what it was about I wondered why it wasn’t on the big screen. I figured out why after watching it for a few minutes.
I am sure a lot of people on here will announce how much they ‘loved’ the movie.. If they do, they must really want to kiss @ss or they saw a competely different movie than I did.
I would rather just be honest. πŸ™‚

some questions about american disneyland(i live in japan):
    do you have “first passes”?
it’s this pass that you get so thatyou don’t have to stand in line,
you justcome at whatever time it says on the pass.
it was made because you have to wait 6 hours(i am not kidding) during the peak season.
the only thing that most japanese people remember about disneyland is that they waited…
    one more thing:
tokyo disney sea, a new amusement park right next to disneyland, is really great.
    for “the grown-ups” ^o^

    Wil,
I loved the Book of Days. I cried, i couldn’t help it. You were so good! I almost pissed my pants when you said ‘freakin’…i just wasn’t expecting it, and it was just funny. You were really good though, i mean, I could totally tell you put so much emotion into that. Without sounding like a complete idoit fangirl, when you cried in the beginning, i could see Gordie crying about his brother. All in all, the movie was pretty good, and you were amazing.

Ben and Mena are already heros to thousands of bloggers. They will be remembered in the history of the internet and open-sourcing, up there Linus Torvalds and others.
In time we will realize the potential of what Ben and Mena have unleashed. Hats off!

The Walt Disney Corporation is Evil. The photos are definitely nothing special. I’m not sure why you posted this. C’mon Wil… spice it up a little.
