50,000 Monkeys at 50,000 Typewriters Can't Be Wrong

two follow-ups

Posted on 31 January, 2006 By Wil

Follow-up to Radio Free Burrito Episode Four: Like I thought, I did a great job on the voice audition, and they loved what I did. Also like I thought, my voice is too deep for the character, so I didn’t get the part. Sadtimes, made less sad by the casting director telling my manager that everyone at Nick likes what I do, and they’ll bring me back until they find a project that I can be part of.

Follow-up to the Walter post: Like I thought, I sucked out loud, and they were kind enough to simply say, "it’s not going any further." I hope I didn’t suck so hard they don’t bring me back for future projects.

My nephews love nick – I hope they find a project soon – I could go babysit just to be able to hear you
As far as the other – I’m sure they have seen enough of you to know that was a bad day & won’t hold it against you.
    Good luck

Don’t stress too much about this…you ARE great and every great artist has many bad days. The important thing is that you went.

I watched Avatar last week. I was looking for something to watch, and it was on. You weren’t in it šŸ™
But it was an excellent show!!! I’m going to keep watching it, I’m curious now šŸ˜‰
Nick should almost write a project for you. Maybe if you come up with an idea, and pitch it….

    Wil,
Chin up man! I have this feeling that something big is coming down the pike for you. It is all about the balance, and the low things you are experiencing now are payments in advance for something huge coming your way. Just a gut feeling I have. I believe in you and always enjoy your performances.
    Rock on!
    Don

“everyone at Nick likes what I do, and they’ll bring me back until they find a project that I can be part of.”
Are you kidding? That’s GREAT! I mean, if it happens. And you should be able to get a good guess at whether they mean it soon.

    One for each testicle.
    That’s gotta hurt.
    Sorry to hear.

Awww, Will, pish posh! It’s their loss, and I’m sure that you’ll have better auditions and roles ahead. Like my Mama said “That Weasel turned out to be a pretty good actor!”

Damnit, I spelled your name wrong again. You better break “Walter” out and have him scare the bejezzus out of me!

Keep a stiff upper lip and keep plugging away. The mere fact that you continue to do well and get the auditions means that you’re doing something right.

On an semi-unrelated note (if Fark doesn’t post it), Jimmy Kimmel’s girlfriend gets a show on Comedy Central:

I certainly hope, Wil, that they at least had you in the final two contenders for the “Sarah Silverman Program”. I would think you’d be a shoe-in, but you can’t underestimate the power of nepotism.

Keep your head up and your stick on the ice…it’s all good and will get better.
