  23. Jules says:

Also, ummm maybe I fail at math but isn’t 365 + 3 leap years X 10 = three thousand six hundred fifty-three days?

Those vineyards behind us are Camus, I believe.

  30. Wil says:
    9 November, 2009 at 7:21 pm

Nah, Leap days are fine. It's being off by 100 days because I transcribed the number wrong that makes me a moron.

He’s not the only one with that song stuck in their head now! Thank you very much for the flashback to 1980frigging6 to Slippery When Wet. Jeez…yesterday I had the theme song from Degrassi High stuck in my head, today it’s Bon Jovi. Help! I’m stuck in the 80’s wearing really horrible clothing and really, really high hair! lol

Best of Wishes Wil and Anne for the next ten. I am a newly-wed and step-father myself. It has had it’s ups and downs but I don’t regret a day.
Sometime, if I ever get you cornered somewhere, I’d love to hear your insights on the process and tribulations of getting published. My grandfather tried unsuccessfully to get published before he passed. I also am in the planning stages for a sci fi series. So obviously, I have a lot of interest in this. Oh and by the way….I loved your appearance on the Guild. I am such a geek. LMAO

  45. Clay says:

Happy Anniversary you two. 🙂 Here’s to another fantastic 10 years, and then some.

It’s common to have number dyslexia. I do it all the time. The condition is actually discalculia. Almost sounds cool, like maybe I’m a Vampire.
Anyway, congrats to you and to Anne! 10 is a good year. We’re up to almost 12, and it DOES rule to be married to your best friend.

  47. Wil says:
    9 November, 2009 at 8:11 pm

What's it called when you take numbers and turn them into letters and screw that up? I have fairly annoying (though not debilitating) dysgraphia, so when my brain has moved onto the next word, I often add whatever the first hard consonant sound is into the word I'm currently writing.
    It's, uh, pretty embarrassing.

  48. Carrie Ann says:
    9 November, 2009 at 8:16 pm

in the immortal words of my best friend….my burger’s jealous….but seriously, you guys give me hope that I can still find my guy somewhere out there….**okay, now I have that song stuck in my head**
I wish you two a long and happy life together….my parents, who were best friends, celebrated 37 years together just weeks before my mother passed away this past summer, so I hope and pray that you two get twice as many years together as that….

Wil and Anne: Here is to many more years of happiness together. And you’re right, marrying your best friend is AWESOME!!

Congrats to you and Anne, and no better place to celebrate than Napa.
Hubby and I celebrated nine thousand one hundred and thirty one days on our anniversary this year. Sometimes he is my best friend…other times I want to push him off a bridge. 🙂 Maybe that is the difference six thousand days makes??
