The 8-bit Bang Theory

  • WWdN in Exile

My friend Rich, who writes and draws Diesel Sweeties, occasionally gives me wonderful gifts, like that awesome 8-bit drawing of me in the infamous clown sweater that sits on what would be my blog's masthead, if blogs had mastheads.

When I got home from working on The Big Bang Theory yesterday, this was waiting for me:

The 8-bit Bang Theory

Today's my last day on this episode, which seemed to fly by much faster than the last one. I'm so excited for the audience to watch the taping tonight, because I know how awesome the episode is, but I'm also sad, because I'm going to miss seeing and working with these incredible people every day.

This is so cool! Your friend has some talent behind him, that is for sure. Can’t wait for your episode to air!

Not to look ahead without seeing….but if this one is as good as the Mee-Maw episode…
In a world where Justin Timberlake and Bruce Willis can win the award, why not Wil Wheaton for “Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series”? A ground swell is forming…
And if Wil doesn’t get it, Evil Wil will just go take it.

That’s pretty cool, I almost do the same thing by drawing on my TI-83 Graphing Calculator. I’ve made the Star Wars logo, a few optical illusions, and a really cool twisting and winding type of picture.

Blogs can have mastheads. Check out http://www.dooce.com for a look at dozens of mastheads created for her site. 🙂 Can’t wait for your return to BBT!

Oh no! I have a beard too. Does this mean I have the potential to be evil? Or am I already evil? Now I’m conflicted.

er…I have season one on DVD. You’re preaching to the choir 🙂
That’s what I meant by way behind. I’m still on season one.

Oh boy Phil, what can I say man? Yesterday was a rather odd day, so I wasn’t as attentive to your post as I should have been. Between hijacking Wil’s blog with my accomplice and then having him tell us in the nicest possible way to shut up and get a room already, my head asplode. Stick me in the corner with the dunce cap on, I so deserve it!

    *sigh*
    Well, that figures.
I’m “deploying” to Curacao on Monday for 90 days with the Air Force.
I suppose sandy beaches, sunshine, and scantily-clad Caribbean women will almost make up for missing Evil Wil Wheaton’s return to TBBT…almost. 😉

I have to say, I did like the first episode you were in of the Big Bang Theory. I am sure there are others that would say this, but we have missed you. Heckuva an actor. Hmmm, just realized how I said all of that may come across kind of, ummm, well, let’s just say I am not that way. Not that there’s anything wrong with that…..lol

This weekend, after way, way too many years in exile, I’m finally returning home. Wow. Typing that made me feel all the feels. I wasn't expecting that.
