    Wil,
This is a little off topic but bear with me. I never even realized you had a blog until now, it’s awesome you are making yourself available online like this and interacting. I grew up with TNG, and Wesley was pretty much my hero for a while (it sounds cheesy, but I’m serious). You inspired me to dig in to my school work so that I could work hard and excel. Looking back it really was a big inspiration.
I love the work you are doing with the Guild now, Season 3 was hilarious! I wish you all the best and hope to see you succeed even more in the future.
    Your fan since 1988.
PS (Any chance you could build me one of those nifty repulsor beams? Been wanting one of those for so long! haha)

The kids book with a lot of hats – I can’t stop thinking about it. It makes me think of Shel Silverstein. I think he had a poem with one man with many hats and one with many heads.

The artist you couldn’t remember (the painting with the apple under the bowler hat) is called The Son of Man by René François Ghislain Magritte….ya know….just in case you need it for a clever reference in the future.
Also, I think you referred to in the interview is called Caps for Sale by Esphyr Slobodkina

Having just listened to the podcast of your Phoenix Star Trek panel, your expression is clearly saying “Yeah, I totally Rikered her.” 😉
Also, I love that modern technology makes it possible for those who could not attend to listen to those events. Thank you very much to the organisers and to you for releasing them.

My big idea is this. You get together with Felicia and ‘direct’ a movie written by her about the coming of age of some gen Y nerd. … YAWP!
With ‘Do you wanna date my avatar’ as the theme song.

Ahhh… Two weeks ago, Felicia was signed up to come down to Perth Australia, and I was like, WOW, I get to meet her (cause I paid the insane access pass where you get your picture taken with her and all) and I’m gonna be like, one degree of separation from Wil, and then, the day my ticket arrived, she announced she had to pull out because of The Guild workload…
So now that I know that you are the cause of her delay (kidding!) I just have to go….
    WHEATON!!!!

After a long Exile, I returned home this weekend. Until the heat death of the universe or I stop blogging (whichever comes first), I'll be back at WWdN.

This is the second to last post I made at WWdN:in Exile. I’m copying it here for completion’s sake. In 2001, blogs were very new things. In fact, as much more time was […]

This weekend, after way, way too many years in exile, I’m finally returning home. Wow. Typing that made me feel all the feels. I wasn't expecting that.
