Did you know I have a podcast?

  • Podcast

There must be, like, fives of people out there who would want to listen to this podcast that I occasionally do, and I they don’t even know it exists!

elo44Well, let me fix that, and introduce you to Radio Free Burrito.

The current episode contains no secret messages.

This show features a whole lot of talking about stuff, including the JoCo Cruise, art, auditions, and why it’s great to do things that are hard.

So maybe give it a listen, why not, share it with your friends, and review it on the places you do that sort of thing.

It’s always a treat when a new episode of RFB turns up in my news feed. I happily knock my lobes when it does.

Listening to the podcast as I type. It is awesome! Love the peak inside and the concepts forwarded. Time travel writers, audition dating etc. The snaps and pops and crackles are the character of the soundtrack, please avoid “cleaning” them away. Congrats in the voice over thing, as for the auditions in general it’s awesome to hear it from your view.

Also, just out of curiousity, how does one get invited to a JoCo Cruise? I am not presumptuous enough to claim I could make the list, but the fact that it occurred to me to even ask, is a triumph of me over my badbrains. Thanks for being the person I shared that triumph with.

You can in fact book a place on the JoCo cruise here: https://jococruise.com/ – you don’t need to be invited. Wil would have been invited due to his well-deserved status as a God of Geekdom. Unfortunately it appears that all the lower priced cabins for the 2017 cruise are already booked, which rules me out due to budget considerations. I’ll have to check earlier for the 2018 cruise because it sounds like a blast, and I love Jonathan Coulton’s music.

As a more on-topic comment – thanks for the heads up about RFB Wil. I listened to the most recent podcast and quite enjoyed it. I’m late to the party on a lot of this stuff, but that just means that there’s a nice big archive to explore – TableTop, RFB, (I’ll have to check out Titansgrave next).,

Why, Wil, as a registered podophile and repeat listener to some of the books you’ve narrated, you realize that I simply MUST subscribe to your podcast, right? \o/

One of the 5 appreciates your ramblings. I squee whenever my feed tells me there’s a new episode. Also, you convinced me maybe I should go see the nutritionist at my doctor’s office. Your focus and determination to get healthier made me think I could do better, too. But maybe I could use a bit of help. So, thanks.

Happy to see a new podcast Wil. Hope you are well and enjoyed the cruise!

You are correct – I would like to listen, and I did not know it existed… In fact, it would look like I might even be a 7th 😮

Great name for your podcast! To answer your question, I was not aware. Thanks for sharing.

Always good to see a new RFB. Its weird though – when you’re busy on projects and working, you dont have time to do RFB, which is better for your sanity (and bank account) but not so good for us fans of RFB.

Wil, I have read your blog for years now. It’s been an almost daily ritual in my life to catch up on your thoughts, hope and dreams. I’ve seen you vent your hopes, dreams and frustrations through the web and I feel like I should tell you that after going though my own mid/mid life crisis, questioning who I am and what I have to offer the ones I love and and world at large, there are life’s that you have touched, influenced and guided towards something better. You are a good man, an inspiration, and I hope to continue to see more of you in the future. Keep on blogging my good man, and best wishes from down under, glad to see you enjoying that tim tam slam and vegemite from your blogs past. You sir, are now an honourary Aussie!

Thanks for announcing – I WAS listening quite a while ago, then it appeared to drop off and I thought it was a limited thing, or you didn’t have time anymore. I’ll resubscribe and am looking forward to binge listening. Thanks! (from one of the throng of listeners – are you up to a “throng” yet?)

    WW.

Louis CK has started doing an independent TV project called Horace & Pete. I don’t think you can get it anywhere other than from his website.

I mention it here because episode #3 is basically a monologue done by Laurie Metcalf who I’m guessing is an acquaintance / friend of yours from Big Bang Theory.

She killed. Unreal. It’s the coolest bravest most out-there thing I’ve seen on TV in a long while. I haven’t been kicked in the gut like by a TV show since watching Carol O’Connor as Archie Bunker sweep the floor and cry after Edith died.

And she nailed it. A perfect 10.0

The song was Master of Puppets, not Battery (also a great song).
But hey, you’re listening to my favorite band, and that’s awesome.

Hi Wil! Of all the podcasts I listen to, I am always most excited to see a new Radio Free Burrito! My husband and I just booked our spot on JoCo Cruise 2017. So excited! 😀

I’ve been listening since you were In Exile! I particularly loved the companion piece(s) you did with Memories From the Future.

Thanks for the fun and please tell me how I can feed the burrito in the future.

This is the podcast I found you on long ago when it started, in iTunes. It made me a solid unwavering fan of yours. Side note, for some reason I can’t log onto the shows blog-page to make comments.
