    (waves Lakers banners)
I managed to catch up with the closing minutes of overtime — that was some cool game they had there.
It would have been interesting to see the Kings go into the finals against the Nets, two first-timers up against each other in goodness knows how long.
But what I saw of it was a good fight. A game worth watching. The finals should be really exciting!

The Kings definitly gave away that game. Hopefully New Jersey can make this a little more interesting. If Philly can’t take out the Lakers, maybe our New Jersey neighbors can do so.

I love this game, but I love the Lakers even more.
    Thanks, guys.

That’s funny. It looks more like 21-34 to me. No matter, NJ is far better in every way. Except per capita cancer occurrence.

What an amazing series. If not for the complete choke job at the foul line, Sacramento wins for sure. I was rooting for L.A., though, mainly because I’m a fan of Phil Jackson.
BTW, Mike Bibby is freaking amazing. I knew he was a great player for Arizona, but I had no idea he had that kind of moxie in the pros. Fantastic player.

Gee, wil…you don’t say one word about this series until the Lakers win it. It’s cause you knew the Kings got jobbed out of it. Two of the Lakers wins should have been given back to Sacramento, Game 4 and Game 6, for the horribly slanted and imaginary officiating that was going on. Just take away Samaki’s bullshit 3 pointer after the buzzer that they counted, and all those phantom fouls they called on Vlade and Pollard in Game 6, and you’d see who the real champs are. It’s a shame Sacramento has to “pay dues” before they’ll call the game straight against us.
    Grrrrr! Fuck LA…

I watched Wesley Crusher Day on TNN. It rocked…I especially liked all the old women who called in and called you “a nice piece of ass,” claiming you were “the hottest teenager on the show.” Sorry, not a big b-ball fan, but thought I would give you props for being immortalized for a day. See? It’s been a good day all around!

    Tough frickin’ game.
The Kings had them right there. LA, damn.
Shaq couldn’t do an interview after the game, he played so long. If you would like to bet on the Nets Lakers series, contact me at http://www.//take my cashplease.org. This line gotta be cruel.
    Danko

That was a hell of a game.
I was born in Sac and reside in Monterey Bay, so I was behind the Kings. All I have to say is: Bibby. He was a bald-headed nightmare out there. His game in the 4th quarter and in OT made both Kobe and Shrek-quille both look like punk amateurs. Amazing.
I have to concur with what was said above; the Kings gave that game away on the free throw line. They finished at around 58%. Painful. Just a few more throws in and they would have had that game in the bag, since they had the Lakers matched game for game in every other category.
    Good game. Wow. 🙂

  35. harborcaptain says:

The better team.. lost. Sorry, but the Lakers are two truly great players (Shaq and Kobe), two moderately good players (Horry and Fox), one mediocre player (Fisher), and a bunch of total scrubs. Kings have 3 great players (Webber, Bibby, and Peja when he’s healthy), a bunch of solid players (Bobby J, Divac, Turgaloo, D. Christie), and better scrubs. No way that the Kings lose with a healthy Peja. Without all that rust, Peja would have hit the late 3 in the fourth and overtime would never have happened. I guess we’ll have to wait until next year, maybe the wheels will finally come off creaky veterans Horry, Fox or Fisher. And if the Spurs come in #2 in the Midwest division? It’ll be even tougher for the Lakeshow to have to face two teams that could beat them, Sacramento and Dallas. So revel in it now Laker fans, the rest of us will be waiting next year.

Okay Wil… You’re out there in California, a Lakers fan. I am here in New Jersey, a Nets fan.
This would be interesting… But, of course, we all know the Nets will lose…
But we could MAKE it interesting… (Even though I will likely stand alone against everyone in the world, save for the 5,000 die-hard Nets fans… Of which I am not even one of…)
Let me know what you think. I am open to suggestions.

Thanks for giving me the heads up on Wesley Crusher day, I would have missed it if I hadn’t read about it here!
…Somehow though, I missed the scene where Uncle Willy waxes her ass… must have been edited for television.
By the way, are you converting WWDN into a gay porn site? What’s with the picture of the guys playing with their balls?

Don’t tell me you were watching basketball while all the good Crusher episodes were on, Wil!
Well, I guess you’ve seen them enough already…
Anyhow, see my comment at the end of the previous thread… I’m too lazy to repost it here, and besides, it would be offtopic.
Hmmm…. even more offtopic: despite the occasional trolls, am I the only one glad that the MT system here *doesn’t* have karma voting (specifically offtopic) enabled?

I was so bad at basketball, I have nightmares about layups. I think if your adult height will result in less than 5’4″ you should be exempt during school.
