50,000 Monkeys at 50,000 Typewriters Can't Be Wrong

Haw, haw! /nelson muntz

  • computers

Just read this at boingboing:

“Spam-king drowning in snailmail spam
A spammer whose gleeful interview — where he revelled in the money pouring in from spamming — was Slashdotted is now drowning in catalogs and other junkmail. Slashdotters have submitted his name to every direct marketer on earch.

“They’ve signed me up for every advertising campaign and mailing list there is,” he told me. “These people are out of their minds. They’re harassing me…”
“Several tons of snail mail spam every day might just annoy him as much as his spam annoys me,” wrote one of the anti-spammers.

Awesome! Someone should have thought of that sooner!

Hopefully he’s learned that every silver cloud has a black lining. At least his victims are spamming by mail and not delivering it in person! That could get ugly.

That’s hilarious. Knowing him, though, he’ll probably re-stuff the envelopes and send everything out again…

I do feel for the postal workers in his neighborhood. Maybe someone should send them a thank-you care package for the holidays.

    Wil,
He thought it was fun to send spam. Now that he is getting the junk, he should not cry boo0-whoo!

I feel very sorry for this man. In fact, I think I am going to send him a condolensce card. I am going to send it to:
    Alan M Ralsky
    6747 Minnow Pond Drive
    West Bloomfield Township, MI 48322-2663
And I’m going to personally write his lawyer to thank him for what he’s doing. My letter will go to:
    Robert S. Harrison
    Robert Harrison & Associates
    240 East Merrill Street
    Birmingham, MI 48009-6106
I may even call Mr. Ralsky or his lawyer at the phone numbers listed here:
    http://slashdot.org/comments.pl?sid=47045&cid=4828539
to personally express my condolensces on how horrible these anti-spammers are being to them.

Off the subject, but funny, I bought my current home from a total prick (sorry, only word that fits). So cocky and smarmy!
Well, he moves we move in. This was 5 years ago. To this day I STILL receive “impotence” mail addressed to him. Ads for cremes, tonics, pills, lotions, medical procedures, et. al.
That’s junk mail I SO don’t mind getting cause I laugh EVERY time. I get THAT and “adam and eve” catalogs addressed to him (which, you would think would cancel each other out, no?)
It’s a party in my mailbox, and everyone’s invited!

That’s awesome! Fark did that to another spammer a few months back. Karma is a wonderful thing!

  12. Andrew says:

I can’t believe that all you people are rejoicing over this. The man is trying to run a business; just because YOU don’t like it doesn’t mean that what he’s doing is . . .
Aw, I can’t keep that up. He’s getting exactly what he has coming to him. (And if some junk-mail companies lose money in the process, so much the better — I get WAY too much unsolicited crap in my mailbox every week.)

Now just sic the telemarketers on his ass and justice will be served!

I love being a college student, for the mailbox and email address that spammers can’t get… but I fear the real world in a year and a half.

Heh, first FARK sics their guys on this guy, now Wil makes a post about it, whaddya think the 50,000 monkeys are gonna do? šŸ™‚
I just gotta say that I’m happy as a pig in sh!t about what’s being done to this guy, i just hope that when he moves (which he’ll have to) that the new people don’t get everything and the mail carriers realize not to deliver the junk there anymore.

I find the whole thing hilarious and full of justice. I couldn’t love it more! šŸ™‚
But, then again, I’m known to be evil and maniacal at times. šŸ™‚
(insert evil laugh here) Ha HA HA ha HAaaaaa!

As much as I hate what he’s doing, I really can’t agree with the reverse e-mail spamming. You can talk of karma all you wish, but every person made a conscious decision to take their little bit of revenge. Rather sad.

    *blinks*
This guy has the NERVE to complain about getting spammed with junk mail when he himself was laughing with evil glee as he spammed others??
To that I say HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA!!!! Cant take what he dishes out. What a loser.
Damn jerk got what he deserved. Sweety irony how Ive missed you so!! =o)

  25. anon says:
    7 December, 2002 at 10:21 pm

We need to know his email address, too, so we can see him spammed!

  26. Mr. Narghyle says:

    >>>>>>>>>>>That is too sweet! My only concern is for the trees.
S’okay. Just plant a tree (or get someone else to do it) for every catalog you know has been sent.
