What’s My Line? — Live On Stage! continues to get better and better, and I’m running out of ways to blog about how much fun I had on the stage, and how much the audience enjoyed the show . . . so I’m not even going to try this week. I’ll just settle on: IT WAS AWESOME. If you’re anywhere near Hollywood on a night that we’re doing the show, you simply must come out and see us.
Tonight, my friend Drew Curtis (who is responsible for Fark) and I will be in studio together on The David Lawrence Show from 8pm until 10pm PST. We’ll take phone calls and instant messages, and I can’t wait to see what happens when the worlds of Fark and WWdN collide on the radio. It’s going to be supermegaawesome. There are several different listening options at the show’s website.

Part one of Saturday Night 78 ended with quite a cliffhanger... ...so here's part two!
A troubling realization
This comes to us from my son, Ryan Wheaton.
Good News, Bad News
I got an amazing job that conflicts with the Denver Comicon next month, so I can't attend the convention.
I am easily amused
Hooray for stupid jokes! *fart*
How/who would we instant message to ask a question?
Hey Wil, do you guys have any plans to take the show on the road? I live in the Central Valley and I’d love to see you, but LA is too far away.
Also, what do you think of the goings-on at G4TechTV and The Screen Savers? You’re one of their favorite guests/co-hosts, so I’m sure you have an opionion.
I am not a number! I am a free man!
You know, I was going to ask the same thing about your thoughts on “The Screen Savers”. Alex already posted that it was pretty bad (and the first two episodes since the shake-up WERE bad).
Honestly, I think they should have asked you to do it. You know your stuff, you covered for Patrick and Leo on both “The Screen Savers” and “Call for Help”… it’s only fitting.
You and Alex would have been hilarious. I really liked Alex (he’s funny and he knew his stuff) and the banter between him and Kevin was great… good chemistry there that really made the show lighthearted but not too much.
This is my first visit. I like what I’ve seen.
I’m not usually a star chaser but I recently saw your “Geek” book and was impressed. I’m glad that you are moving forward instead of living in some kind of weird time warp like so many other child stars.
Good luck with all you do, especially the running for charity!
I talked with the TSS producers (who are amazing, wonderful, supercool guys) several times about joining the new TSS in Los Angeles, but I just didn’t have the confidence that G4 wouldn’t somehow screw it up, so we decided that it would be best for them to pursue a different host.
And, honestly, I have nothing but good things to say about everyone I’ve ever worked with from TechTV. I sincerely wish everyone there the very best, and hope that their experience with G4 isn’t anything like my experience with G4.
Wooh! Keep up the good work, Wil. I really wish we could have driven up to see your show – alas, it was not in the cards.
Good luck tonight, I know you’ll kill. Supermegaawesome, indeed.
The show last night rocked Wil! Even the girl I was with, who doesn’t really like comedy shows, enjoyed herself.
Simpily fantastic.
One thing my date said after you stated “Since I’m blindfolded and I am unable to write down any notes on my trusty pad, I’ll have to verbally go through my notes…” She started laughing and said to me “Evin, that’s something you would say!” And I thought to myself… “Thats fucking awesome!”
I’ll have to be there for Saturday night as well. NO, I’m not becoming a stalker or anything like that, I just enjoy your shows. Besides, I’m hoping that someday you’ll remember my name.
Again, Excellent show last night!

Wil, you were in The Liars Club!!! which is one of my favorite movies EVER! lol seriously. I Know What You Did Last Summer totally stole your movie! I loved Punky Brewster and the kid from the Mighty Ducks lol good times 🙂
best movie ever!
Wil,
Fark just announced that Drew was going to be on the show, but whoever posted it, forgot to mention hat you would be there too. Thankfully I was there to throw your name in the mix and make everyone realize that you’ll be there too, since only a couple of us realized the mistake.

I can’t wait for tonight then…after the OC of course *dodges thrown squishy tomatoes* Hey, I’m allowed one non-geeky thing! Anyway, if you keep talking about the greatness of this “What’s My Line?” i will simply have to hitchhike to CA…on the other side of the country…or I’ll just make-believe…
Oooh…IMs? what client? yay!
Congrats on the Whats my Line
Wil,
Looks like your having fun. Keep up the great work.

A tiny twist on the whole “Number 1/Number 6” thing.
“Who is Number One?”
“You are, Number Six.”
Funny how one little comma can blow something out of the water, huh?
Sounds like you’re now an improv theater freak…congratulations, have fun! I sense an addiction coming on….
…resistance is futile.
I’ve always thought you don’t even need the comma, Mike.
I love Issac Asimov’s description of the first time he watched the Prisoner. He was enjoying what seemed to be an interesting and well made sequel to “Danger Man” and wondering how the hero would defeat the bad guys and get out of the Village at the end. And then the show finished.
Wil,
You could have saved an “a” if you had just said, “megawesome.” I know it doesn’t seem like much, but if everyone just saved a vowel here and there, the shortage we are facing might be averted.
Thank you,
Jordan
there aren’t nearly enough prisoner references in life.

Mmm.. BitPass…
I’m downloading the full David Lawrence show right now. Can’t wait to listen to it after my staff meeting!
I’ll be in LA next week…if I’m not doing Kimmel Wednesday evening, I’ll have to come down to ACME.
Hey Wil… I’m glad to hear the show is going great. My brother always enjoyed doing improv, too, and it’s fun to watch when it’s done well!!!
I’m sorry to hear this will keep you from the WPBT Las Vegas Holiday Classic poker tournament. I’ve managed to work it into my schedule and we’re up to about 24 bloggers. It should be a blast. We’ll have to make sure you can get out to the next live event!!!!!!
Who is number one? Commander Riker, of course.
I second (or three-hundredth or whatever) the motion of taking the show on the road. I know at least half a dozen people out here in St. Louis who’d love to see you! May not sound like much, but considering I’ve only been here a few weeks and only know about half a dozen people in St. Louis at all, it’s a pretty good percentage! 🙂
True Dungeon?… as in D&D?… you are a bigger geek than I had previously suspected. (compliment, swear)
