Wil, there are only 10 kinds of people that even get Binary.
Those that do and those that don’t!

Wasn’t that the name of a Next Gen episode?

I hope you did the toes as well.
And does you mother know you did that?

That’s even dorkier than the Pi shirts they have @ the MIT bookstore — pi symbol on the front, pi calculated out to about 100 digits on the back…

That is so awesome! I really want my nails done like that… if I could stop biting them. Though I haven’t in a while, so it’s possible.

That is so very “sweet.” I might try writing an entire post in binary. I may take me sometime though.
For those who like words and rhyme you should try Rhymerator 1.0. It helps you be a rapper. I’ve tried it but judging by some of my rhymes I’m not ready to join 50 cent just yet.

Aww man, *I* want fingernails like that!! Unfortunately, I have no skill at all with a nail brush. And if a press-on nail company made them, then they’d be main stream, and I wouldn’t want ’em any more 🙂

    “0111001101110111011001010110010101110100!!”

Maybe I am just being overly skeptical, but the numbers appear to have been added to an existing pic through Photoshop? (Oh the trouble I go through to not use “Photoshop” as a verb!)Look at the tips of the fingernails. The numbers appear to travel past the nail. It’s particularly noticeable on the index finger and the thumb.

If it’s not photoshopped, it’s because it’s a decal type application. That’s why it wraps around. And those fake nails can be REALLY thick.

yep, just saw you on VH1 and you rock, dude \m/
Although I would have ranked you higher up, but that’s just me. Damn, but I wish you were in a series now. (Personally, I was rooting for you to play God on Joan of Arcadia — stupid CBS.)

I miss out on everything. I guess the downside to not having cable is I miss when cool stuff is on. Of course, I just had a guy say he didn’t know me because I was reading a Star Trek: TNG book. Such is life.

Not to be a geek but,,,
Is this ASCII, or UTF-8 encoding?
    *hides somewhere quickly.*
Mercy, Mercy, I joke! I kid!

  26. jubalation says:
    16 June, 2005 at 7:17 am

Uh oh. I have no idea what ASCI or UTF-8 encoding means. I hope that’s not a prerequisite for geekdom. Maybe I can slide in under the radar.

One can only hope that this is a trend limited to nails on finger, thumb and toes.
I wouldn’t want this trend to find its way on a row of front teeth, though a customized set of dentures might be fun 😉

I’m a loser but the original boingboing post indicated “That’s all I have to say, but if you read it backwards there’s an added message from Satan at no charge.” I can’t convert it but she says that it spells SilverAJ. Backwards, that’s “Jarevils.” I don’t get it… J ar evils? Jar evils? Anybody clue me in?

i also saw you on VH1, and i wouldn’t have if my little sister hadn’t decided to invade the basement and change the channel. i also linked to your website on my website. would’ve sent an encrypted email, but couldn’t figure it out to save my life…

Very nice. I declined to figure it out, though, as I’m trying to embrace the part of me that goes through the magic portal and to the land that resembles my desktop picture, what with the green “grass” and that fiery ball in the sky called the “sun”.
Yet, the call of the code lures me back… So… Orderly…
