who are you? i really wanna know.

Which Fantasy/SciFi Character Are You?

This is always fun. Head over to TK421.net, and find out which Sci-Fi or Fantasy character you are.

Apparently, I am John Sheridan.

An experienced survivor who has maneuvered around many obstacles, you are looked
up to by those who rely on your good judgment.

In the last few years, we’ve stumbled. We stumbled at the death of
the president, the war, and on and on. When you stumble a lot you tend to look
at your feet. Now we have to make people lift their eyes back to the horizon and
see the line of ancestors behind us saying, "Make my life have meaning,"
and to our inheritors before us saying, "create the world we will live in."

I know it’s a silly online survey, but I was surprised at how much I identified with those words, and I was very grateful that I wasn’t Wesley Crusher (not that there’s anything wrong with that.) So if you’ve got a few minutes to waste, head on over and tell us who you are.

(Thanks, Ocean!)

    w00t! Picard!
“An accomplished diplomat who can virtually do no wrong, you sometimes know it is best to rely on the council of others while holding the reins.
There are some words which I have known since I was a schoolboy. “With the first link, the chain is forged. The first speech censored, the first thought forbidden, the first freedom denied, chains us all irrevocably.” These words were uttered by Judge Aaron Satie — as a wisdom, and warning. The first time any man’s freedom is trodden on, we’re all damaged.”

    I ended up with Aragorn:
“Putting your appointed path ahead of any inner conflicts, you make your own rules for the benefit of all.
“If my life or death I can protect you, I will.”
    Hmmm….

Samwise Gamgee. Considering he is one of the strongest characters in LOTR, I take that as a compliment.

    Galadriel
Possessing a rare combination of wisdom and humility, while serenely dominating your environment you selflessly use your powers to care for others.
Even the smallest person can change the course of the future.
Galadriel is a character in the Middle-Earth universe. You can read more about her at the Galadriel Worshippers Army.
Galadriel Worshippers Army?!?! Heck ya! Wonder if I can get them to do my laundry…

    I’m Yoda:
A venerated sage with vast power and knowledge, you gently guide forces around you while serving as a champion of the light.
Judge me by my size, do you? And well you should not – for my ally is the Force. And a powerful ally it is. Life greets it, makes it grow. Its energy surrounds us, and binds us. Luminescent beings are we, not this crude matter! You must feel the Force around you, everywhere.

    I’m Obi-Wan:
With the prowess of a seasoned samurai and the wisdom of a wizard, you try to do the sort of things that root out evil.
The Force can have a strong influence on the weak-minded.
I love taking these kind of quizzes, maybe more than I should!

    What SciFi character are you?

Because I’m a fanboy, and wasn’t doing anything better with my time, I went to take this online survey that Wil linked to. Turns out I’m…Jean-Luc Picard. An accomplished diplomat who can virtually do no wrong, you sometimes know it…

I got Princess Leia…when I told my husband, his only response was “Well, she *is* sarcastic.”
A strong-willed herald of causes against injustice, you passionately strive to right the wrongs around you.
Somebody has to save our skins!

I had a weird dream last night, you and the zombies were in it. I don’t remember what it was about. I just remember seeing your face and these ugly looking zombies. When I woke up, I thought it was weird that you were in my dream, then I realized it came from reading your site! Zombies! Blah! hope my grammar’s ok as its not my first language.

I miss Babylon 5, it was such a great series. Should get it on DVD one of these days (even though I’m too skint for it).

  15. Brandi says:

Wow, I got Picard! Wait, does that mean I’m going to go bald? 🙁

  16. Michael Doss says:

    KIRK!
An impassioned commander with more respect for individuals than for authority, you have a no-holds-barred approach to life and its obstacles.
    I don’t believe in the no-win scenario.

Most surveys of this sort don’t have this many options. I was sure I was going to get Data if he’s in there, but WFS works too.

  17. Josh Glover says:
    20 October, 2005 at 5:55 pm

I also got Picard, which is worth mentioning in my own blog. Thanks for the link, Wil!

  18. doug_ici says:

Picard for me too. I guess I always did identify with the sensibilities of the character, so I wasn’t too surprised. The quote given on TK421 was absolutely perfect. Thanks for the few minutes of fun!

    Wesley Crusher
A brilliant learner with a knack for almost everything, you choose to spend your efforts in the pursuit of travels that extend your own potential.
Maybe I am sick of following rules and regulations!

Hmmm… I answered the questions truthfully, but I really don’t think I’m like Wesley. Oh well, nothing’s perfect, I would suppose.

The quote makes me cringe, but anything associated with Ashley Judd can’t be all bad.

This is an awesome Quiz. Some of these are terrible. I’m loving how many different characters there are on this one.

  23. wittyenough says:

    I am Susan Ivonova…cool.
Fiercely dedicated to bringing an end to corruption and exploitation, you are a strong-willed and courageous force of light.
Ivanova is always right. I will listen to Ivanova. I will not ignore Ivanova’s recommendations. Ivanova is God.

  24. Pookie says:
    20 October, 2005 at 7:09 pm

Well, wookiee poo, I am John Sheridan as well. Is that a good thing? I never watched much Babylon 5. Why couldn’t I be someone less…pasty ?

    Aragorn for me, evidently.

  26. Erbo says:

    I’m–surprise, surprise!–Commander Data.
A controlled personality with a vast range of skills and behavior, you are often intrigued by the people and places surrounding you.
In the strictest sense, I did not win — I busted him up.
Good find…I put a link to it over in the “Stupid Quizzes That We Secretly Enjoy” topic on EMinds. Thanks!

Ah.. I am unique so far…Elrond!
A stern yet benevolent organizer who often knows best, your wits are keenly fixed on aiding efforts you deem worthy.
Now at this last we must take a hard road, a road unforseen. There lies our hope, if hope it be. To walk into peril to Mordor.

  35. MistyB78 says:

    WOOT! I am Obi-Wan..
    Ewan McGregor is hot 😉
But, he’s no Wesely Crusher 😛 Sorry Wil, Wes was my favorite char (data second) in the ST: TNG series 🙂
    EVIL DOERS BEWARE!!
With the prowess of a seasoned samurai and the wisdom of a wizard, you try to do the sort of things that root out evil.
(like reporting cons and phishing scams when I find em.. ha suckers cant fool me, really it is amazing how many gullible people are out there.)
The Force can have a strong influence on the weak-minded.
(And I sir, am most definitely not weak.)

My fiance says I have something called the “Yoda Factor.” He says I will always identify with the character who is some combination of small, green, funny, and wise.
Ergo, Yoda am I. Mine, or I will help you not!
