50,000 Monkeys at 50,000 Typewriters Can't Be Wrong

who are you? i really wanna know.

Posted on 20 October, 2005 By Wil

Which Fantasy/SciFi Character Are You?

This is always fun. Head over to TK421.net, and find out which Sci-Fi or Fantasy character you are.

Apparently, I am John Sheridan.

An experienced survivor who has maneuvered around many obstacles, you are looked
up to by those who rely on your good judgment.

In the last few years, we’ve stumbled. We stumbled at the death of
the president, the war, and on and on. When you stumble a lot you tend to look
at your feet. Now we have to make people lift their eyes back to the horizon and
see the line of ancestors behind us saying, "Make my life have meaning,"
and to our inheritors before us saying, "create the world we will live in."

I know it’s a silly online survey, but I was surprised at how much I identified with those words, and I was very grateful that I wasn’t Wesley Crusher (not that there’s anything wrong with that.) So if you’ve got a few minutes to waste, head on over and tell us who you are.

(Thanks, Ocean!)

Count another Wesley Crusher in the poll.
Damn that’s so … not what I expected.
    Although, their rationale fits.

Ohh great, count another wesley in there – not what I thought at all
The question on would you kill your best friend to be imortal suprising took less time for me to answer than it should.

  7. Lex says:
    21 October, 2005 at 7:15 am

I’m Boromir which is so not expected but hey whatever works is cool with me. I so thought I was going to be someone or else. But yet, it all oddly discribed me 🙂

Would someone get this walking carpet out of my way? Yes, I’m Princess Leia 🙂

    I got Galadriel too…
which is weird, coz I never really noticed her 😐

I am Delenn from Babylon 5. Mmm… never really watch it so I’m not sure. But apparently my character is: “Devoutly dedicated to helping lead others to glory, you are a strong, supportive, and spiritual caregiver. Summoned, I take the place that has been prepared for me.”
Guess that’s not a bad one to be… I am the only here with this character, I think!

  12. Meerenai says:
    21 October, 2005 at 7:53 am

    I’m Wesley Crusher. Cool. 🙂

  13. Kirsten says:

Add another Aragon to the list. Not sure how I feel about that….

  14. snapkat77 says:
    21 October, 2005 at 8:48 am

I’m Galadriel, too. Pretty accurate description, I think. And I must say, that was just about the easiest internet quiz I’ve ever taken!
btw, this is my first post. Makes me feel like a real part of things around here!

  15. Eh... not so much says:
    21 October, 2005 at 8:53 am

I am also Kirk! Oh well, at least it’s James T. Kirk, not William F. Shatner.
    Also, I Am Not Spock.
(Can’t believe WFS has won two Emmys for running around going “Denny Crane”…)

  16. Paul says:
    21 October, 2005 at 9:00 am

I can’t believe I’m the only one so far, but I’m Gandalf:
“A wandering spirit caring for a multitude of just concerns, you are an instrumental power in many of the causes around you.
And so am I, very dangerous: more dangerous than anything you will ever meet, unless you are brought alive before the seat of the Dark Lord.”

  17. Annika says:
    21 October, 2005 at 9:06 am

I too am John Sheridan. I had to ask google who he is. Apparently I don’t watch enough television.

  18. phedrang says:
    21 October, 2005 at 9:24 am

I took the quiz twice. First I got Humperdink from the Princess Bride and then I changed some answers and got:
    G’Kar
A character from Babylon 5 An
Ceaselessly struggling for a well-deserved redemption, you carefully arrange your alliances and energies.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.

  19. crazyinventor says:
    21 October, 2005 at 9:29 am

Another Elrond here. I really wasn’t sure what I would end up being, but was surprised at how accurate it was! That was fun! 😉
    Now get back to work.

  20. Astin says:
    21 October, 2005 at 9:34 am

Darn, I was hoping I’d be the only Gandalf.
A wandering spirit caring for a multitude of just concerns, you are an instrumental power in many of the causes around you.
And so am I, very dangerous: more dangerous than anything you will ever meet, unless you are brought alive before the seat of the Dark Lord.

  21. Roxymom says:

Don’t center on your anxiety, Obi-Wan. Keep your concentration on the here and now where it belongs.
    -Qui-Gon Jinn.
    (So true, so true…)
At least I get to carry a lightsaber… My son would be so proud!

  22. Red Queen says:
    21 October, 2005 at 10:01 am

I am Worf…except when I take the quiz the second time *with the exact same answers*. Then I am Samwise Gamgee.

    INCONCEIVABLE!
Finally a villian to enliven this hero infested corner o cyberspace.
Bow before the superior intellect of Vizzini.
Vizzini: I can’t compete with you physically, and you’re no match for my brains.
    Westley: You’re that smart?
Vizzini: Let me put it this way. Have you ever heard of Plato, Aristotle, Socrates?
    Westley: Yes.
    Vizzini: Morons

One more Aragorn right here! 😀

  27. Caro says:

I’m Galadriel, which makes me rather happy. A friend’s sister is named Galadriel. But she goes by Mandy. As cool as the name is, I don’t blame her.

  28. Valerie says:

    Obi-Wan Kenobi
“With the prowess of a seasoned samurai and the wisdom of a wizard, you try to do the sort of things that root out evil.
The Force can have a strong influence on the weak-minded.”
I like it! 😉 Thanks for the distraction from work…

    Hey Will
I did the survey and was told I am like Kosh
I rethought one of my answers and when I changed it was now rated as Wesley Crusher.
So the only difference between you and Kosh, is that you would prefer a guilty person to go free vs an innocent being convicted.
    That was fun

  31. robespierrette says:

    Yet another John Sheridan here.
Go figure. . . It’s apparently not a very common result, based on the survey they have going over there.

  32. napoleondynamitefan says:

    I am Aragorn. Cool.

  33. Elayne Riggs says:

Oy. Apparently I’m Princess Leia. I’d rather be Carrier Fisher!

  34. Mudboy says:

    I got Wesley… Thats too funny…

  35. AmiNTT says:
    21 October, 2005 at 4:01 pm

It turns out I am G’Kar. I think I like that, not necessarily from what they say about him, but who he is in the show.
    /me is pleased.

  36. Val says:
    21 October, 2005 at 6:26 pm

Also Sheridan. Kind of strange…wanted to be someone cooler. Yeah, I’m way much more like Seven of Nine…oh except the skin-tights might look a little different on my 40 lb. beer gut ;-/

  37. Jen Z says:
    21 October, 2005 at 7:56 pm

I’m John Sheridan too. There are not very many of us! Just 1080 as of this posting. Wacky.
Oh, and I’m female. Guess I’m really Jane Sheridan.

  38. Jen Z says:
    21 October, 2005 at 7:58 pm

P.S. Oh, and thanks for the title. Now the CSI theme song is running through my head. I got addicted to that stupid show (that I now watch twice a day) because of you, you know. “MY NAME! IS WALTER!”

    Another Picard here.
It’s funny how our distribution seems to be skewing away from the internet totals quite a bit.

  41. SandieK says:

Lets see…Im an Internal 505 error. I feel so pleased! Oh well, Ill try again later. Are you familiar with http://www.quizilla.com? Tons of these quizes. Most are dumb, but some are actually fairly decent and accurate.

  42. LordSpam says:
    22 October, 2005 at 3:54 pm

Ok, I feel like a freak now. Not because who I came out as, but because I’m the only one. Put me down as Harry Potter.

  43. eaglenest608 says:
    22 October, 2005 at 7:16 pm

I am Princess Leia which I am not too thrilled with considering that I am male?? Go figure, lol. I guess I have a strong femanine side but should I even be telling everyone this?!?! 😀

  44. DejaVu says:
    23 October, 2005 at 5:46 am

    *lool* I am Worf… sure – a warrior… 😉

  45. Groundrush says:
    23 October, 2005 at 9:02 am

  46. Christy says:
    23 October, 2005 at 12:49 pm

Raistlin Majere, apparently. I know nothing about Dragonlance, so I’ve no idea whether to be pleased or insulted.

  47. funnykel says:
    23 October, 2005 at 12:51 pm

Yeah! I am Princess Leia. As a child I always called her, but now it’s confirmed.
I always do these little quizzes. So far I am ‘Will Turner’ from Pirates, and a variety of other brave and courageous people. Funny, how that works out.

  48. tanyak says:
    23 October, 2005 at 1:42 pm

Being totally honest I ended up as Wesley Crusher…I figured there were probably only 3 people to chose from, but there weren’t.
well, guess now I know why I was one of the freaks who liked wesley…

  49. R says:
    23 October, 2005 at 9:10 pm

Another Galadriel here. So common, sniff sniff…

  50. sitebymike says:
    24 October, 2005 at 2:29 pm

Add another Wesley Crusher to the total. I always liked Wesley and now I know why.
