50,000 Monkeys at 50,000 Typewriters Can't Be Wrong

a plethora of poker games

  • WWdN in Exile

I screwed up the starting date for the WWdN Friday Game at PokerStars this week, so it looks like WWdN #5: Toby039 Invitational is happening tonight.

That is a mistake! Tournament number 14687178 is cancelled. I have unregistered from that game, and created WWdN #5.1 for tomorrow. If you’re registered in the Invitational that is set for today, drop out and re-register in the correct game. Sorry about that!

However, to make this even more complicated and confusing, there is a West Coast Warmup tonight, which starts at 10:30 Eastern (7:30 Pacific).

Details:

What: WWdN West Coast Warmup #1
Where: PokerStars.
When: Thursday, November 10th. 10:30 PM EST
Password: monkey
Tournament number: 14855882
Buy-in: $10+1

Details for tomorrow’s correct WWdN Friday game:

What: WWdN: Toby039 Invitational
Where: PokerStars.
When: Friday, November 11th. 7:00 PM EST
Password: monkey
Tournament number: 14856143
Buy-in: $10+1

I hope to see lots of people in both games!

Um, if the West Coast warmup is tonight, shouldn’t the date be November 10th? 🙂
And even though I’m in the East, I may play it, which would be cool as a first online tournament.

    *BZZZZZZT!*
I do believe the West Coast Warm-up is for TONIGHT at 2230 EST, hard to have a warm-up for a tourney that began two and a half hours before, no? 🙂
Registered for the Warm-Up, as it’s all I’m available to play. Hope to see you at my table Wil. (Coming off a slight bubble escape of my first 180-man SnG…*phew*)

I concede my anal nitpicking abilities to toml, beaten by mere minutes…

Oh for fuck’s sake. I really have to look at these things before I post them.
The date and time for TODAY are fixed.
. . . I wonder if I can just set up a cron job to create these tourneys for me? 😉

Heh, at least I know I’m not the only one who is an anal nitpicker…eeew….

Very cool, I’ll be able to toss my dead money in now since I usually cannot on Fridays.
    Good luck Wil!

Dang it … burned up all my good hands winning a $1.50 SNG … oh well at least I paid for my entry for tonights game.

I feel pretty good making it to the last 3 tables on my first game.

Thanks for the warmup tourney Wil. In true WW fashion, it ended with my KK getting cracked heads up.
    Had a blast.

So for those of us who spent the past however many waking hours in the theatre (North Medford, production of Our Town goes up on Weds of next week) and ended up blinding out of a tournament that didn’t happen (or maybe did, and the final table was it from the get go), ya think the WINNER (cfinn, vancouver) would be good enough to transfer enough back to those of us who didn’t get out in time so that we could Buy in to this one?
You’d be out a whopping $44, cfinn. Think about it.

Or at least kick back to two of us, and have the #2 and #3 finishers (Sabboth and barclay1701) cover the rest?
    Just a thought.

Let’s see… I played in the warm up and got my butt kicked. Ah well, what do you expect when sitting at a table with:
Joanne, Shane, Dave, and Change100? Plus a few other bloggers I think. When another blogger pops in and says “wow, talk about a stacked table”, you suddenly feel in danger.
