Rather than just close it down, I thought I’d pose a question here: I’m sure there are lots of good designers and creative people who read my blog, so if I had a contest to design things like shirts and stickers and stuff, would anyone be interested in participating? … I didn’t think about it until after I read those comments, but I get the feeling that contest is a loaded term in the design community, and though I spoke to this in a comment on my earlier post , I want to be really clear about my thinking, so I’m posting much of that reply in this entry, so RSS readers who don’t read or post comments can see it (I’ve also edited and expanded upon it a bit): I’d never write something for free, unless I was getting some other form of compensation. … So, let’s try this again, in a different way: I’m considering revamping the WWdN store (the alternative being just closing it down) but I don’t have the time or skill to do anything worthwhile with it on my own.

I will tune in wil.
Looking forward to listening π
I tried listening, but the stream was worse than a bad radio.
:-
Yeah, the WMV feed through the Portland station was REALLY bad. I couldn’t distinguish the voices from the static. Ended up downloading the show via Bitpass. (I also couldn’t call in — the phone company seems to think the toll-free number is out of commission.)
Glad I was able to enlighten the masses about chorizo, though.
I tried to tough out that bad stream too but finally had to give up. I sent DL a couple of IM’s on AOHell, but not sure if he got them. I’m going to try and download the show today. π
It was game night at our house so I missed it. I’m going to try and download the show today as well though! It’ll be great to listen to on my lunch break! It’ll be the first podcast I’ve ever listened to.
if I can get it to work that is
