i’ll be on livewire at e3 today

  • WWdN in Exile

Picture_2_2
I
‘m getting ready to hop on the train and go down to E3, to do an hour on GameSpy’s Livewire program with David Lawrence. I’ll be on at noon Pacific time, and you can tune in for audio goodness through the Livewire website, but you have to register for the video goodness. Sorry about that; it’s beyond my control. I’m pretty sure it’s an interactive show, too, so come out and represent the posse if you’re in a representin’ mood, dogg. Uh, yo. Word. Westsieeeeeeeed.

When I’m done with that, my official quest to play Guitar Hero 2 will begin, which makes this the first time in three years that I’m actually excited to go to E3. Rock.

I’ve been listening to DL’s “Personal Netcast Podcast”… he’s hardly mentioned Bukowsical since Variety called him “dead space at the center of the cast”… so be sure to see it at E3 and cheer him on..!

Listening to the Livewire broadcast from E3 now. Wil plugged Metroblogging. Nice.
I still don’t get this Guitar Hero thing though.

That stupid Hendrix remake that they played before, during breaks and after the broadcast is 8th grade gay.

…oh and I know the broadcast is quite done yet, but that song is coming. Trust me.

Curses! I had a line on a “borrowed” pass but heard they were being a little more diligent with the ID checks this year so I haven’t taken a shot at it yet.
I’m getting myself on the list for this, but I would pay cash money for viral video of you holding a Wii controller and pretending it’s a phaser.

This is Wii, and this is Wil. What Wil Wii… Wii Wil Wii…

Please excuse my being off topic, but I thought that this might be liked, especially considering your bookstore readings; I wish I could see yours in Boston. Alongside, Stephen King, J.K Rowling, and John Irving (The World According to Garp, and The Hotel New Hampshire) will each be doing a reading back east at Radio City Music Hall. It looks like it will be a good time. There’s more info on Stephen King’s web site. Clicking on the “Latest News” will render it. http://www.stephenking.com/

I dig the Guitar Hero stuff way, way more than the Poker stuff.

Two places you can play Guitar Hero.
Downstairs in the Kentia Hall at the Red Octane Booth.
Also WAAAY on the other side at the WEST HALL they also had Guitar Hero at the SONY-PLAYSTATION area.
Or you can just read about it here.

Forgot to add there was a line for a live action poker table and one of the manufacturers were giving away decks of cards.

    FYI…
I had a line on a “borrowed” pass but heard they were being a little more diligent with the ID checks this year…
I’ve heard the same thing about NAMM show and E3 but have never seen anyone actually checked at either show.
I would file it under the POLITE EXCUSE category.

Apropos of nothing, that picture they have posted, that you copied over, that’s just your picture from the cover of JAG, but cropped funny and with slightly odd proportions? Yeah. That one.
Never shave your head, man. Just don’t… do… it. You look freaky, and not in a good “Samuel L” way.

Thanks for giving me a way to waste an hour at work.
Guitar Hero is 8th grade gay? I’d have to counter that anything with the guitar stylings of “Dimebag” Darrell cannot possibly be gay.

Nice seeing you on Livewire. But what we really want to know is how GH2 was!!!

    Hey Wil
I haven’t commented in a while. My bad.
Just downloading your last appearance on David’s show. I’m looking forward to listening to it on the drive to work tomorrow 🙂
