I had a great time working on Numb3rs today, but I’m too happily exhausted to say much more beyond that right now.
When I washed my face a few minutes ago — one of the last things I do at the end of my day — I noticed that there was some makeup on the towel.
"Gosh," I thought, "I haven’t seen that in a long time."
I’ll sleep well tonight. I can’t wait for tomorrow.

kool an da gang. I love that show. Can’t wait to see the episode.
Cool beans!
Congratulations- I’m glad that you’re having fun with it!
Good to hear that you are having so much fun with this. You deserved it 🙂 Can’t wait to hear more about your time on the set.
It’s a great feeling isn’t it? Congrats Wil. I’m really happy for you 🙂
Cool! My wife and I love Numb3rs.
Have fun, but do not fall under the influence of the dark side! Writing is your true calling! Resist the siren sound (smell? er, feel?) of makeup! Resist!
Sweet! This is one of the few shows i watch and i’m pumped that you are going to be on it! Congrats 🙂
This week on Numb3rs: Shut up, Miles!
😀
Congrats on getting the job, Wil – I’m going to follow this show more closely from now on.
All my “yay” are blong to u! 😀
Great to hear you’re enjoying yourself, and am champing at the bit for your “ep with the Eps'” to air.
Sounds like you’re having a blast! Can’t wait to see you back in this particular saddle, so to speak.
Nice Wilco reference, btw. 😉
The internet is weird. I have never watched Numb3rs, because I am morally opposed to titles that try to substitute numbers for perfectly good letters that we already have, but now I find myself thinking I’d better watch this episode. Because, you know, an internet stranger who is famous will be on it, and I read his blog regular-like. Because it’s like someone I actually know personally will be on the tv. I guess thanks, internet, for effectively making interpersonal communication a whole different world than it used to be.
Aww!
First thought that entereed my mind: “When i wake up in my make-up…”
Gratz, Wil!
You ever hear of a need for a short, fat, a-hole computer geek, you know where to send ’em! ;}
Whee!! So excited for you. We’re Numbers junkies, so we’re looking forward to seeing your episode.
I’m so glad you’re having such a blast. I hope you get to play someone really eeeeevvviiill (because evil is way more fun than good).
So do they let you wear your own t-shirts (I assume that as a character who’s a comic-book nerd, he would wear t-shirts)? If so, are you using the opportunity to subliminally plug great stuff? If not, why? Why, Wil, Why?!?!
Hey Wil, how cool is it to read so many positive reactions from people you have never met but are none the less giddy about your career?
(I think it’s very cool)
You gotta let us know when it airs. I totally can’t wait!!
I’ve actually never seen that show, but if you can tell us when it’s going to air I’d watch it and give it a shot. Congratulations. 🙂
Many congrats on the gig! I love that show, it’s one of my favorites. Can’t wait to see you on it. I’m sure it’ll be great 🙂
Take care Wil.
Congrats on booking the show Wil, that is totally awsome, I have missed seeing your face on my tv, far to long!
I’m downright squeeful about seeing this episode. I love Numb3rs, and I was one of the many girls who grew up in the late 80s and early 90s crushing (pun intended!) hard on you. *G*
*sigh* I love men in make-up. Stage makeup, that is, not the Boy George stuff. Especially the whole Taboo thing… bleeccchh. But I digress…
A shoiw I love, an actor I see too little of.
Bliss!
Mary
Congrats on getting the jobs! I have no idea whether the air Numb3rs here in Germany, but if they do, I will start watching it in about 3 years, when they will show your episodes…
Oh and by the way. I work as a flight attendant and on my last flight to Tokyo, I had a Japanese passenger in my section who was reading “Just a Geek”. So hey, people even know you in Japan!
I’m surprised they started shooting right away, didn’t you just have the interview yesterday? Is that normal and is that tight hiring-shooting schedule why they’re so keen on finding someone that nails the part perfectly on the first try?
At least you didn’t see blood in the towel, because it would have indicated that you had a very different day than the one you remembered 🙂
the makeup on the washcloth is always a great thing isn’t it? I mean, in a kind of “I’m a guy, so it’s a good thing no strangers are seeing this towel and making me need to awkwardly explain myself” sort of way. Or maybe that was just me at the gym after my play wrapped.
All this is just a very long set up to say “WOOOOO! Way to go, Wil!”
Very cool. Can’t wait for that episode.
Good job! Let us know when the show will air!
The folks over at Television Without Pity put out a formula that pretty much sums up how the show goes. I still watch the show though. 🙂
Pretty much filled with cool.
I suppose the only question now is to hang onto that towel. Should the world end, you may need it. 🙂
