Nice. That must give you a great feeling, Wil, to see your work on a bookstore shelf like that. Does it ever get old?

I meant to say, I bet that never gets old.

    Slightly cheeky, but very true!

That’s pretty much the collection of books I saw the first time I went over to my now-husband’s apartment.
One of the bigger reasons I married him, actually.
    Geek luv ftw.

Ahh, so nice to see proof that we’re not the only people with bookshelves that look like that!! 🙂 Very cool, Wil!

I sense a Flickr meme. I’ll have to add mine to the comments on that shot tomorrow. I honestly can’t think what’s next to my copy at the moment.

That should make you happy! It’s got to be an awesome feeling to be walking in a bookstore and seeing your book sitting on the shelves like that.

A more cromulent stack of books I’ve never seen.

It doesn’t get old, it just mellows like a fine wine.
After a few years you stop getting excited when seeing the book or getting approached for a signature or comment; instead, you get a quiet, warm, nostalgic feeling.

    Hi Wil,
OT: greetings from a German admirer! I found your blog by pure chance and love your writing style. Just ordered “Just a Geek” and “Dancing Barefoot”. Tried to get “Happiest Days” also but it’s still too new, I think. Who would have thought, when I watched you as Wesley Crusher, that I would one day order your books :))
    All the best from Germany,
    Nicole aka Louffi

Lets see.. my Wil books are pinned between On Writing Well and Under the Tuscan Sun on my shelf, neither of which I’ve read or intend to (gifts).
I suppose I could add that they’re directly above my hardcover issue of Miller’s 300 and under Beyond Fear.
I think I need to clear out my shelf, as there’s a few embarrassing books taking up valuable real estate.
I bet if you asked, W, readers would send in pics of their shelves and your stuff’s proximital location thereon.

So impressive to see all the great books stacked together. 🙂 Beautiful picture!

I honestly thought you’d taken a photo of my own bookshelf! Isaac Asimove, Dark Knight Returns, Dancing Barefoot…I have all those books in my collection.

Hmmm, whilst I have all the Forgotten Realms books pictured in the background, your works are currently sited inbetween my Dilbert books, and Winnie the Pooh….. I’m not sure what that says about me…..
