50,000 Monkeys at 50,000 Typewriters Can't Be Wrong

good news, everyone!

  • Books

Well, good news to everyone who is going to Phoenix Comicon, anyway (which is in just five days, demonstrating how effectively a convention can sneak up on me when I’m doing other things.)

UPS just dropped off 25 copies of Just A Geek and Dancing Barefoot, which I purchased from O’Reilly at great expense to myself and my heirs. So if you’re hoping to get your hands on The Collected Works of Me, Wil Wheaton, we’ll probably be able to exchange shiny gold rocks for bound collections of dead trees and words.

Have fun and I hope you get many shiny gold rocks! I would come out and give you more gold rocks but I’ll save my gold rocks until you come closer to my town. Then it will be more shiny rocks for you, less for the airlines, hotels, and car rental companies.
    Have fun!!

    Hey Wil,
If you have time, you really need to see this film at Comicon. I have been following it for almost a year. What a cast these guys got…
Saturday 7:10 PM โ€œNetherbeast Incorporated” followed by Q&A.
A quirky twist on the vampire tale. Set in modern day corporate America Employees of Berm-Tech Industries, Inc. have kept the family secret for a long time. For years it has been business as usual, until the top vampire in charge contracts a dreaded disease and invites the first humans to work in the office in more than a century. Soon the new employees discover that some of their associates are not what they appear to be, especially the dead one in the cubicle with a wooden stake through his heart.
Starring Darrell Hammond (SNL), Judd Nelson (Breakfast Club / Suddenly Susan), Dave Foley (Kids in the Hall/News Radio), Jason Mewes (Clerks 1 & 2 / Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back), Steve Burns (Blue Clues), Amy Davidson (8 Simple Rules) and Robert Wagner (AustinPowers / Hart to Hart)

Well, I just bought your first two books on Amazon, but I’m hoping you’ll have the third at the Comicon so that I can have the complete set! Also, I looked at the schedule and found your talk (can’t wait), but when will you be around for autographs and book purchases? And, as a complete convention newbie, please forgive this question – do they/you charge for your autographs?

Thanks! Lookin forward to seeing you there!

Say hello to fellow guest, Svetlana Chmakova. She’s awesome. ๐Ÿ™‚
She and I are both friends with Bettina Kurkoski, the artist for the cover of volume 2 of the Star Trek manga. Small world!

Wil, love your Twitters but they keep me busy ๐Ÿ™‚ I’m sorry to hear about your being sad…hope it’s not because of Heath Ledger or any loss like that…but I did LOL at your follow-up! I feel your pain about the sleep schedule thing!! I am always trying to get back to a more “normal” schedule but somehow always end up back at vampire hours…
