50,000 Monkeys at 50,000 Typewriters Can't Be Wrong

is there anyone home?

  • WWdN in Exile

. . . yep. But my doctor says that talking on the phone, sending e-mails, posting in my blog, and spending too any time doing much more than watching TV (I’m still too drugged up to fucos — I’m not changing the spelling on that because it’s so goddamn funny — on reading this big stack of graphic novels I bought for the recovery) raises my blood pressure dangerously high, making me bleed a lot. I guess bleeding a lot is something I’m supposed to avoid for the next few days, so it’s me, the couch, and the TV.

I’m trying to get Anne to guest post while I’m drooling on the couch and watching Modern Marvels, so maybe there will be something worth reading here in the near future.

Thanks for all the get well wishes you’ve all left in comments and sent via e-mail. That’s very kind of you all.

Get well soon Wil. Take it easy and try to enjoy your forced vacation.

    If fucos = bleeding
    and
    tv + drugs <> bleeding
    then
    tv + drugs > fucos
Hmmm… or something like that. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Rats. Type pad’s spam filter thought my well wishes were spam. Here’s a less spam-looking-ish wish for a speedy recovery. Hopefully this gets through.

Hope you start feeling better soon, and can regain some fucos so that you can actually read a few of your recovery graphic novels.
Happy Valentine’s Day to both you and Anne!

Puppies and kittens Wil, puppies and kittens.
    Impromptu naps are great too.
But don’t push it, recovery always takes longer than you expect. Take it easy until you find yourself back at your normal pace, and you didn’t notice it happening.

Happy Valentines day to you and Anne. Rest up and get well soon.

A prescription from the doc to forcibly sit on the couch and watch TV and do nothing else? Can’t beat that.
Rest well, and dream of…well…your wife, I suppose. Take care and get better soon.
I think it would be very cool to have Anne as a guest blogger. Can’t wait!

Get some rest Wil. There are times when you just have to kick-back. I enjoy your tweets and blog entries.

Modern Marvels, How It’s Made, Some Assembly Required, Dirty Jobs – sounds like an awesome day (aside from the bleeding and sinus issues of course)

    Wil!
    Get well!
    Don’t bleed!
Also, if you haven’t already, Tivo some “Top Gear” on BBCA. Makes great sick-on-the-couch watchin’!
Stay rock. Rockin’. Continue to rock. Yeah.

I’m definitely in favor of guest-posting by Anne – it can be like “Anne’s Corner”..
definitely not okay to bleed all over the carpet…take your laptop into the bathtub and you’ll be fine.

My brother in law had something similar done. It didn’t work though, he’s still a dick.
    Clot well my brother!

Happy Valentine’s Day to you and Anne. Get some rest, you deserve it. No more bleeding, please! We will all wait patiently while you recover.
    Anne blogging, very cool!
BTW – I read “The Happiest Days of Our Lives” and absolutely loved it! It took me a few more hours to read than it normally would when I read a great book (usually 2 hours tops), but I was at work..damn work! Gonna save up so I can read “Just a Geek” and “Dancing Barefoot”. Hopefully you’ll be at the Phoenix Comicon next year so that I can get those autographed as well.
Okay now back to resting, no more computer for you! ^_^

If you do bleed on the couch, post pictures of it here, and then you can write it off as an advertising expense. Your devoted readers can then make Rorschach test comments about the blood stains.

    Wil,
I just had Sinus surgery in Oct. but it was laser, no packing! But it was still rather unpleasant. Hope you’re feelin’ better.

    Hey Wil,
had this surgery myself a couple of years ago.
    The good news:
Never had one of those special monster headaches ever after.
    The good advice:
Try not to catch a cold…
    Get well soon!
    That´s an order!

So Wil, did you get your Valentine cards and presents written BEFORE the surgery? I hope so…can’t imagine they were high on your list of priorities today! Though I do have a picture of you on the phone to lastminuteflowers trying to make yourself understood: “Doh! I said 12 ded doses! DED! ‘D’, ‘E’, ‘D’ – DED! DOSES! ARGHHHHH!

Soo: I never used to like “How it’s made until I realized that it’s something that’s fairly entertaining but that will also put me to sleep. Same with “Unwrapped” for me.
Wil: This is just a good excuse to rest for you. And read graphic novels. oooh, you’re sort of lucky!! Get well soon!

I gave my boyfriend the audio version of Just A Geek for his birthday today. It’s absolutely fantastic! We’re going on 12 hour car trip this weekend and it shall be the main entertainment (and will hopefully keep us awake). I, like a greedy impatient person, already listened to it before giving it to him, so this will be my second listen.
Oh, and I hope you are starting to feel better!

Graphic novels will cure anything that ails you. I’m a League of Extraordinary Gentleman and X-Men kind of girl.
Oh, and watch Mythbusters. Watching stuff get blown up is also a good fix-it. 🙂 Adam and Jamie are hilarious.

I hope you start fucosing soon Wil.

Hey there Wil. Thanks for your message, but keep in mind that you are under Dr’s orders to relax. Granted it may not be easy, but hey, you got it in writing to relax. Resting is the best help to recovery. So in my try of SciFi language: “You are ordered to go to your quarters and relax Mr Crusher. Make it so!” Wil, just “fucos” on the kick back, relax and watch something funny on tv or dvd. Take it easy Wil we will still be here when your are feeling better.

By the way: Anne doing guest blogging sessions would be so cool!

As a nurse in an ENT office, I see and schedule my fair share of sinus surgeries. I can only imagine what you’re going through, but I know it sucks.
    Good luck, Wil! Feel better!
    And no sudden pressure changes!!!!

  44. R says:

C’mon, Anne, you know you wanna! 😉

  46. Gaerin says:

I feel weird not having had sinus surgery nor having a relative who has had one, I realize everybody’s involved here except me.
Reading fucos must have torn you face apart, ouch… wouldn’t have liked to feel that.
As for the titles, so gently asked, I can’t help some ad… Just a little pinprick…
    http://fr.youtube.com/watch?v=k0Uxx8Gu6Pw
And fucos the mistakes, we just try to have fun even though we sucos.
Did you expect people to say “Damnit, that’s it, we have our revenge”, or “that will teach him that what’s beautiful is really inside”, or even “goood, now this place will be empty like the whole head” ? Of course, people are seriously affected by your sinus surgery and cheer you up. What did you believe? That we were just trying to obtain some thanks? 😉
PS: There’ll be a “Life of Brian” effect on this word. I encourage everybody to write (and say, if you dare) fucos from now on!

Ha Ha Ha! I see the Timmy Turner name crossed out. First thing that popped in my head… Fairly Odd Parents cartoon!
