Happiest Days orders from February

  • Books

I know that there are a dozen or so outstanding Happiest Days
orders from February. I’m going to process them all today and tomorrow,
so domestic orders should arrive by the end of the week, and
International orders should arrive within 2 weeks. I’d like to apologize to everyone who is waiting.

It’s so weird to feel like I’ve completely lost over a month of my life. It’s kind of like looking at a faded photograph with most of the details blurred out, or trying to remember a dream that runs away as soon as you wake up.

    Wil,
I say this with your best intentions in mind:
What you think are minimal activity and what your doctor think are minimal activity might be somewhat different.
Three days ago you said that you were back to minimal activity. Since then you seem to be pretty active.

Great. Now I’ve got Nickelback stuck in my head. Again.
    Thanks.

I think i’m going to have to agree with Bartholomew on this one.
    Take it easy babe.

Do you remember getting up in the middle of the night and yakking in my sink? (Sorry – wrong teen idol)

Just to follow up on my prior comment:
I have no idea what you’ve actually discussed with your doctor, so a lot of this is just me relating my experiences.
But, I have had a LOT of sinus issues in my life. And, a lot of sinus infections.
My best suggestion for you would be to REST. As in, STAY IN BED. I know that is hard for you, because you want to do things. ANY thing. On some level you feel your body is somehow currently betraying you, but if you just keep plugging along, it will come back around.
It likely won’t, or will take a lot longer.
Once you wake up and have a day where you feel TOTALLY fine having done nothing more than get up to eat, go to the bathroom, and watch TV while in bed, then stay in bed one more day. Then start doing stuff.
The world will (hopefully) still be around, and it will be better off because you’ll be healthy and able to contribute in the wonderful way which you do.
    Get well.

    Hi Wil,
Do you plan on selling more hardcover copies online as well as selling signed copies too? For those who missed out the first time.

    Amen, Bart-man. Sing it, brother.
Wil, your body has been through a trauma, and it’s trying to repair itself. Energy you expend doing “stuff” is taking away from the energy your body needs to rebuild and to renew itself. Maybe your headaches are your body’s way of telling you to “Sit the f*ck down, and I mean NOW.”
I just had a root canal (it was very creepy knowing there was a little pocket of infection just lurking there and eating away at the bone in my jaw), and you don’t see ME doing anything strenuous. And a root canal probably pales quite a bit in relation to sinus surgery.
    Seriously, dude. R-E-S-T.

If you know anything about your readers (your community) here, you should know that we’ll all patiently wait for Happiest Days orders until you are healed. If we thought that strain from shipping our book orders caused a relapse, it’d make it a lot harder to enjoy our shiny new Happiest Days. (Although, honestly, we still would.)

    Hey sounds great!
Did you se my email regarding my order of Happiest days?
Paypal skipped the part where I choose which address I want the book shipped to and unfortunatly chose an ooooold address. My receipt ID is: 6J422129E7609184M
Please let me know if I should re-send my current address.
    Thanks!!!

I feel you on the missed a month thing… I had surgery in December and missed more than a month of work surrounding that time period. It was weird to get back to work and try and re-join life where I left off.
Actually, it was because of my problems that I missed getting an autographed Happiest Days, but I did just get my book this past week and I taped the customs form signature inside it to make up for it… Just kidding…I’m not one of those creepy “few” fans.

I too am interested in a hardcover edition of your new book. Don’t make us start a petition! =)
