50,000 Monkeys at 50,000 Typewriters Can't Be Wrong

my episode of gorgeous tiny chicken machine show

  • WWdN in Exile

My episode of Gorgeous Tiny Chicken Machine Show won’t be "officially" released until tomorrow, but thanks to my extensive contacts in the seedy and delicious underbelly of the Internets, I’ve secured access to the episode a full 24 hours early.

I did some interviews to support this episode, including one with Monsters & Critics that’s pretty awesome. As soon as I get links to the other ones, I’ll update. Because, uh, you know, everyone really wants to read a bunch of interviews that I did.

Ahem.

Oh! I have a bet with Greg and Kim that we can make the YouTube "most viewed" page before Friday night. I looked at my stats and saw that there’s a little over a million people (holyshitomg) reading my lame blog . . . i can haz most views?

So…are your friends and family going to call you “mushy shorts” for the next few weeks? I know I would. It’s such an awesome nickname.

    Mushy Shorts! Brilliant.
For what it’s worth I’m going to be humming “Feel the pretty! Pet the kitty!” for the rest of the day.
I now must find this show and watch other episodes.

That’s made of awesome. I love how you have the self-absorbed studio-jerk mannerisms down cold.
How are you going to shake the Mushy Shorts nickname?

I was waiting for you to show up of GTCMS…
You’ve done the Policeman, you’ve done GTCMS…. all that’s left is the Guild and ‘Two Hot Girls’ and you’ve got the Quadrilogy.
Hmm…. I wonder which of those options is more appealing to Mushy?

I created an account just to post on how awesome it was that you did an episode of GTCMS. I have been a huge fan since episode 2 and when you said you were going to be on it was like a dream come true. Great Job Wil šŸ™‚

I was introduced to anime in 1988 or 1989 when I saw a 5th generation VHS bootleg of Akira.
How bizarre. That is how I was introduced to Anime too. I think it was my Junior year which would put it in 89 or 90. It was a really bad copy with lines caused by recording noise going through the picture. My friend kept going on about how cool the smoke was.

  23. SteveM says:
    29 May, 2008 at 2:56 pm

Wondered why you hadn’t posted about that when I watched it on YouTube earlier… Excellent!

What say we make this little bet official, Mr. Shorts? If we get into the top 20 most viewed before our 48 hours runs out, we’ll take you and Anne to dinner. If it doesn’t then…er…uh…I’m keeping Anne’s coffee cup forever! *Evil laugh*

  27. swordman69 says:

Hysterical. I watched it 3 times. You need a t-shirt with ‘Mushy Shorts says, Don’t be a Dick’.

  32. haemony says:

I had no idea that show had a following. Really. I caught one episode of it completely at random, and my first and only impression at first and since has been “wtf?” Seeing you on there turned that into “wtfbbq?” with a lol for good measure, so I guess it ain’t all bad.
    Pet the kitty!

  37. Jessika says:
    29 May, 2008 at 6:09 pm

That was great! Let no one say that geeks don’t clean up well. Dark suit really becomes you. The smile & wink at the camera didn’t hurt either! Very funny stuff and I hope you make it to the top 5, if not the top, viewed on YouTube!

  38. Jessika says:
    29 May, 2008 at 6:13 pm

Oh, and yes, I would like to read/hear interviews with you!

  39. ProudTexasWoman says:
    29 May, 2008 at 6:24 pm

Damn … I was soooo hoping I could get over here and gush before it officially hit the blog, but I should’ve known better.
Will have to settle for saying that it utterly failed to disappoint. (!) Any concerns that it might not live up to weeks of expectation, exacerbated by its not airing when the press coverage said it would, have now dissipated into a happy mist floating over your colorfully flowered faces.
Your acting was in fine form (as, incidentally, were you — congrats to Anne! It’s always nice to have a spouse who’s not only loving and funny, but keeps himself up … take it from one who knows). The episode was back up to the show’s former standard, and being the show’s #1 fan (as designated by Pogo Saito herownself), I couldn’t be more pleased that it arrived there with you on board.

  40. Chris the Tiki Guy says:
    29 May, 2008 at 6:25 pm

OK, that was hawesome. you’re totally channeling Patrick Bateman from “American Psycho” at the beginning there…
Is it dangerous that I want to see Mushy Short’s business cards? Is the cardstock they’re printed on called “Bone?”
    Nicely done, Wil.

  41. Brian says:
    29 May, 2008 at 6:51 pm

That was just disturbing and wrong.
I love it!! Green light it all the way! I’ll have my people get a deal memo done ASAP. :-p

  42. MiladyGreenEyes says:
    29 May, 2008 at 6:54 pm

    Two things:
    1) You are about two thousand kinds of awesome in that vid.
2)You are also that many kinds of good-looking.
    Hell to the yeah.

  43. Steve says:
    29 May, 2008 at 7:48 pm

I’m not trying to be a pain, nor am I trying to be sarcastic, but a million people reading the blog? Can that be correct? I mean, I’m reading it regularly, but there are 999,999 more people like me? If so, I’m really impressed. But I’m also a little depressed because it’s cool to be part of a smaller group that found something cool. But if everyone is doing it, then maybe it’s not as cool as I thought. Bummer.

Oh my god, Wil, that was hilarious and wonderful. Plus, you look totally hot with a beard (not everyone does).
Is this a regular web show or something? I guess I could look that up myself…

That was too funny. I don’t think I’d have been able to keep a straight face during the filming of that. Kudos to you for staying in character as Mushy Shorts.
    LOL
