Happiest Days of Our Lives is currently number one on Mysterious Galaxy’s paperback bestseller list. <– That link has been fixed. Stupid goddamn firefox not copy and pasting correctly grumble grumble.
It’s a dynamic list, and that link will likely reflect this little bit of excitement for just a short time, so I used my screenshot-fu to capture and preserve the moment:
To keep this in perspective, Mysterious Galaxy is just one store, where I did a heavily-attended reading and signing last month, so I’m not under the delusion that I’ve grabbed a brass ring here, or anything like that . . . but it still feels pretty damn good to see this.
I believe that Mysterious Galaxy still has some autographed copies of Happiest Days and my other books, so if you’re looking for one, knowing is half the battle.

You’ve already killed their bandwidth…I was wondering what else was on the list.
That’s freakin fantastic!
Go Wil!

Halfway through it right now.
I’ve listened to ‘Geek’ a couple of times and really enjoy that. Any chance of you doing ‘Happiest’ in audio form? I know it’s a huge undertaking, but your speaking voice is very engaging and keeps my interest. Love to add that to my collection.
Go Obama Go!….”just sayin”
Well done! Congratulations!
Awesome! High fives, man!
Just ordered one since I have been bad and hadn’t ordered the new book yet 😛
Yay, congratulations!! 🙂
Rahrah, sisboombah. You deserve it! Such an original breath. Thank heavens.
That is wonderful; enjoy your moment 🙂
Hey Wil the link for “Mysterious Galaxy’s paperback bestseller list.” is broken. It currently links to this:

Congratulations! Sure it’s one store, but it’s a pretty important one.
Congrats your books rock and deserved to be recognized as such. By the way excellent GI Joe reference.
It’s still number one! Congratulations on yet another great book!
Dammit, when will it be available the conventional way? I loved it, as soon as I can order it in, it will go on the shop’s recommend shelf.
That’s great! I hope I’ve done my part – not only have I bought my own copies of all your books, but I also am responsible for my library acquiring the two of your books they didn’t have.
Thanks for mentioning that they had signed copies…I just ordered a copy. I was about to buy one last week but I held off for some reason. I cannot wait until it comes. Looking forward to reading, and congratulations, Wil.
Congratulations on the success of the book. I picked up a copy from you when you visited Emerald City ComiCon last month. The next day, Sunday, was cloudy and wet, so I sat down on the couch with the book, and read it from cover to cover before I got back up from the couch. Normally, this would not be a great feat, however, (and believe me, it was pointed out by the wife and all four of my kids that were home), I don’t read. With the exception of the occasional newspaper, the work related magazines that I skim through, I haven’t actually sat and read a book in years. This however was one that I could not put down. I found myself lost in thought and memory on several occasions. Thank you for the wonderful book, and a day that took me back to my childhood. The Bestsellers status is one that you truly deserve.
Hey, congrats! I’m going to have to go buy it now… I can’t believe it took an AMC version of pop-up videos/movies on Stand By Me to find out you were, like, a Super-Blogger. Where the #*%@ have I been?
