50,000 Monkeys at 50,000 Typewriters Can't Be Wrong

that’s no moon . . .

  • WWdN in Exile

. . . that’s an awesome T-shirt!

Just in time for Comic-Con, one of my favorite Threadless shirts of all time has been reprinted!

Dark Side of the Garden - Threadless, Best T-shirts Ever
As always, if you buy it via the image above, (or buy anything via this link) I get shiny gold rocks that I can trade for other awesome Threadless shirts of my own, like this one:
Training - Threadless, Best T-shirts Ever
It occurs to me now that I haven’t gone on a T-shirt buying rampage in several months. Hmmm . . . maybe it’s time to pay a visit to Think Geek.
(You know, when I go to Think Geek, it’s like a suburban mom going to Target or Costco. I go in there for one T-shirt, and I end up leaving with a ton of other stuff I had no intention of buying when I walked through the door. Please note that I’m not complaining.)

I know! I’m thinking hard about the squishy bowls and that new carabiner, for no good reason besides that they look awesome

As for suburban moms going to Target, well… mine’s a little different. Once my mother and I went out for (amongst a few other mundane things) toilet paper, and came home with a computer. Should’ve seen the look on my dad’s face THAT evening. 🙂

When you buy stuff from Thinkgeek, I get shiny gold rocks that I can trade for things like books written by Star Trek alumni.

Might I humbly recommend you check out lastexittonowhere.com . Great references to excellent movies. They’re on Britain so be careful, I think the prices are in crazy British doubloons. Let us know if you find anything good!
    (bustedtees.com = also great)

You might give Zazzle a try. They’re a bit like Cafe Press, but i can honestly say i’ve been happy with everything i’ve designed and bought from them
Perhaps you might dig on this gallery to get you started:

Wil, my friend design’s t-shirts. He was just interviewed by Flashfilm.com, a fashion magazine…weird that they interviewed a t-shirt designer, but cool exposure for my friend.
You should check out his shirts at lintyfresh.com. He just quit his day job to support himself full time from his t-shirt line.

Ugh, didn’t mean to make “design’s” possessive in above comment. I double checked all my links to make sure they displayed correctly but overlooked my grammar.

Hey, I resemble that remark about suburban moms and their trips to Target! It’s so true. You should see some of the stuff I leave the store with, even if I just go in to get kitty litter and diapers. And, now that you mention it, I could use a few more geeky T-shirts for Gen Con Indy in August….

I know I’m commenting twice in a row here, and this is completely off topic, but I wanted to share a link to my blog because I just added some pictures from our family vacation last week. The last picture is relevant to you, Wil, because I thought it would be fun to take my signed hardback copy of “The Happiest Days of Our Lives” (#41 of 300) to the beach. I read it in just a few hours over a couple of days, and it was a highlight of my trip. Thanks for the great read, and here’s my blog for anyone interested: http://marriedtothemd.blogspot.com/
Now, you can say your book’s been to the South Carolina Coast, where it got a great tan, by the way! 😉

Shiney gold rocks?? Please, I will not any left after the big Honking Star Trek convention. Remember Wil they miss spelled your name last year. I wish you were going.

Completely off topic here, but I thought you’d like to know there’s a fun mention of you and TMNT here.

Comic-Con, where all unusual shirts must be worn. Funny how you bring that up though. If you’re not in a costume, then the shirt is usually the next step in showing your geekness. I tend to make my own shirts. Which can be good and bad, depending on how the “geek/joke” is perceived. I’m going to create my own checklist to see how many threadless, one horse shy, and busted tees I see at comic-con.

Off-topic, but in today’s Diesel Sweeties, one of the characters confesses having a crush on Wesley:

I just bought both – one for me, one for my son….and now I am hoping you get more shiny gold rocks to spend on your own wardrobe 🙂
