Yarr! It be 2008’s Talk Like A Pirate Day, me Buckos! Shiver yer timbers when ye gaze ‘pon me plastic pirate hat. It be small, but ’tis got an elastic strap and staples, to stay on in a stiff breeze.

Now I’m set to wonderin’ . . . what shall I plunder today?

    @The Bad Astronomer
    I do believe that’s an Obama “Hope” poster! Having said that..
    “Arrrr.. It’s driving me nuts!”

    Hi there, long time fan, fellow geek (known as The Geekstress among friends) and hoping you might want to signal boost another [fill in the blank] day for a good cause.
    First – take a look here: http://simplykimberly.livejournal.com/795671.html
    In a nutshell – the world is about to lose a grade A wonderful geek WAY too young to skin cancer. So if you want to signal boost “wear your pajamas to work/school” day in honor of Dion and skin cancer awareness, I’m sure it would put a smile on Dion’s face, and it might save someone else from such an early and awful fate.
    Plus … pajamas at school! Pajamas at work! Only slightly less fun than talking like a pirate, right?
    Thanks for reading, regardless! Arrrr! (I know – the day is over, but it’s not PJ day yet!)

    Arrr, it do look like ye added a bookcase to that wall and a fetching poster to yer door since last year’s pirate photo. Chin up, bucko, and may yer piraty days be many. And though it be a few days after the official “talk like a pirate” day it never be too late to talk like a pirate. Yarrr.

This is the second to last post I made at WWdN:in Exile. I’m copying it here for completion’s sake. In 2001, blogs were very new things. In fact, as much more time was […]

This weekend, after way, way too many years in exile, I’m finally returning home. Wow. Typing that made me feel all the feels. I wasn't expecting that.
