50,000 Monkeys at 50,000 Typewriters Can't Be Wrong

’tis a silly place

  • Film

If you live in that part of the Venn Diagram where Star Trek and Monty Python overlap, (as I do) I suspect you will be glad you watched this.
(epic thanks to Sean L. for e-mailing this to me.)

First, really? Neato. Anyway, hubby & I have seen that video before. Quite amusing! And yes, we do live in that part of the Venn Diagram… ’tis a crowded place!

It’s nice to be in the right part of a Venn Diagram for once. That video is the best reason to be a geek.

Surely you jest. That’s hysterical. What I want to know is, why are so many Trek fans also Python Fans? It’s good to fit in.

I too reside in that part of the Venn Diagram. My love for this is truly bottomless. Thank you, Wil!

Oh man, that’s hilarious! So glad you posted it on a Saturday, so I didn’t have to wait until I got home from work to watch it 🙂

Y’know…after seeing many, any remixes and overdubs of various sorts, I went in with a bit of skepticism. But this was done very well, with much attention to scene selection and sync. Kudos to the maker, and thanks for passing that along, Wil!

Yeah, I was drinking tequila when it got to the ‘push a pram-a-lot bit’. Barely managed not to spray my monitor. 🙂
    Thanx, Wil!

I’ve seen this a bunch of times before, but it never gets old. Poor Chris Pike.
Yes, I live in that part of the Venn Diagram, too.
I want to see someone do this with YOUR series, Wil. 🙂

*waves from the Venn* I was waiting with baited breath for what would be the “chained peasant clapping” bit. Excellent use of the Way to Eden! Yes – someone please do a TNG version – heavy on the Guinan, Worf, and Ensign Crusher please!

I watched this video expecting nothing. When I started, all it had was a logo! My brain said I was daft to watch this video, but I watched it all the same, just to show it! It made me FOMCLOL, so I watched it a second time. That made me FOMCLOL. So, I watched third time. It made me spontaneously combust, fall over, and then sink into the floor. But the fourth time, I stayed up! And that’s what you’re going to get, ye who watch this vid-the strongest LOLs in these parts!

What makes this so funny is that much of the action from Star Trek was truly as campy as Monty. I really loved that show.

We all had a great laugh.
Yes, we are all from that part of the Venn Diagram, it’s a lost cause.
    Thanks for sharing.

So very glad you liked the video. (I own a “Hello, My Name is WFS” t-shirt, so this really made my week. I’m sure my partner in crime will get a huge kick out of it, too.)
Congratulations on your new edition, and best of luck to you in all your endeavors.
