for my fellow pibble owners…

PibblesUnderCovers

We have officially reached that time of year where it’s cool enough at night for my dogs to activate “DAD WE NEED TO SLEEP UNDER THE COVERS OKAY” mode.

My two landsharks proclaimed that last month. As the largest heatsource in the bed, I have been experiencing maximum pibble spooning for a while.

My guy does this year round. He can’t figure out how to get under the blanket, and he won’t let my wife help him, so I have to lift the covers to let him in.

Mine are too old to get on the bed any more….

They make pet steps for older pets! But I imagine up and down steps may prove difficult for bigger pups.

OMG – they’re so scary looking! How can you bear to close your eyes with them so close …….. heh. Such sweeties. I have rotties, and yes, it is that time of year.

Trim their nails, please. For everyone’s sake. 😉

To Seth who commented “Trim their nails, please. For everyone’s sake.” Get a life. Those nails are not needing trimming.

Things like this just make you even more awesome. I have two pibble boys and they sleep in bed with me, under my blankets. I wouldn’t have it any other way!

I am a cat owner (no trolling please I LOVE DOGS), and had never heard the term “pibble” before. Would love that to catch on. The name pit bull seems to have taken on too much baggage. These guys can be love bugs and deserve better than the media gives them.

Forget bed… you know it’s winter with a dachshund when they’re in your sweatshirt with you.

You’ve got nice dogs. It’s great to see support for the “Pibbles”. I’ve got a Pit-Grey Hound mix. (if you want to know what that’s like – its a sprinter that never runs out of gas).

My experience with two labs, two adults and a king size bed: The dogs started off on the floor but by morning they were spread eagled in the middle of the bed and my wife and I were clinging to the sides of the bed.

Our cat has started Occupy Heating Vent again this year. She migrates across the tile and hardwood from rug to rug, seeking the maximum heat advantage, which is usually lying directly atop of the vent itself.
