Skeletor’s best insults

Posted on 5 November, 2014 By Wil

I don’t miss working for a corporate nightmare, but I really miss Skeletor reading angry tweets.

If you love Skeletor’s angry face of anger as much as I do, you’ll probably enjoy this compilation of him insulting everyone he can in Eternia.

This SO reminds me of the way Doctor Zachary Smith (a/k/a Jonathan Harris) used to insult the Robot on “Lost in Space”! Think about THAT, you garrulous gamester! Oh, and BTW–SHUT UP, WESLEY! (WICKED GRIN)

“Why do I surround myself with fools? Even the robots are smarter than you!” Used that one once or twice at work

I couldn’t help but think of Dave Chappelle doing a 30’s style gangster movie voice when he’s under pressure…. “stop talking like that.” “Stop talking like what copper, neh, this is my voice see.”

Pardon my ignorance in area, but I’m curious….

If you enjoyed making the show, what’s to stop you from doing yourself on a Youtube channel?

I thought the Skeletor (bad) reading tweets (worse) was, uhh, the most sucky part of the shows. Thank goodness for the DVR’s fast forward!

This was awesome. But hey…Wil. You said “Corporate Nightmare” (really…it deserves the appropriate capitalization…). Those are not words one uses if one is hoping for renewal, UNLESS your bosses are just THAT cool. Will there be no Season Two? Because that would suck.

    Hey–if necessary, I’ll help crowd-fund it. 🙂

There’s no season two. The network decided not to renew us. However, the same afternoon I heard that we weren’t getting more episodes, they sent out a casting notice describing exactly my show, looking for — I shit you not — “a Wil Wheaton type” to host. So they liked the format, they liked the content, but they didn’t like me.

My dad asked me a couple days ago if the show was coming back. I’m sad to hear that. They’ll probably get Chris Hardwick to host it, because he does everything. 😉

Wait! Did Skeletor just say “Books are the real treasures of the world!”

Wil, just a quick note on your survey, the choices available make it a bit difficult to split it up, because “equally split between” makes it seem as though I’m equally split between online/multiplayer games, tabletop games and single player games, even though I’m actually more equally split between online/multiplayer games and single player games, with tabletop games being relegated to ‘when my friends are available and we’re in the same city’.

It could make the results a bit skewed, I think.

    Skeletor was the writer’s father!
He-Man was the father’s expectation of the writer!

OMG! My whole childhood makes sense now!

I never watched He-Man (though I caught a glimpse of it in a special restaurant with computer games). But I vividly remember my nephews toys. He had a half man half wasp at some point. He never got Skeletor, but the name was on his lips more than any other character. Show looks nice.
