there were errors

The entire purpose of this post is to get the error warning off the top of my blog. Apparently, this theme doesn’t like whatever was going on with the photo I posted yesterday. For the handful of you who care about things like this: It turns out that there was a URL shortening plugin installed that was causing the warning and the strange insertion into the header. I deactivated it, and reactivated the native one, so hopefully that will fix things.

  1. There is still a WordPress error, but you can only see it for a second on the page itself. Doesn’t look like it has to do with the image though. You can see if you view the html source:

Warning: Header may not contain more than a single header, new line detected in /home/wil/public_html/wp-includes/link-template.php on line 3340

      1. If you Google the error in quotes, most of your pages come up but no forums with any kinds of solutions, unfortunately.

I just looked at that line in link-template.php though, and it seems like the shortlink for the previous image post is blank for some reason, and that seems to be causing a newline to occur:

Maybe you can edit the shortlink for that post…? This one has a shortlink, and no error.

        1. Mysterious Kevin tracked down the error. It turns out that there was a URL shortening plugin installed that was causing the warning and the strange insertion into the header. I deactivated it, and reactivated the native one, so hopefully that will fix things.

  2. Can I ask what plug in you use for subscriptions and to send out your emails to subscribers? The one I have doesn’t allow for the nice email format.

      1. Ah, I see. Though I have Jetpack installed, my site/server is on a private network so it won’t allow me to enable it. Bummer.

Thanks for taking the time to respond!! I truly appreciate it.
