Hope you had a great holiday, Wil.
I spent some time at the university playing chess (and winning) with some pals. I ended up playing the piano and some boogie woogie for friends till about 3 in the morning.

That picture is either “Awww it’s a puppy!!” or “Holy crap that dog is regal as fuck!!” Love it.

Marlowe is so beautiful! Those pretty puppydog brown eyes remind me of yours..hehehe.

I’m so happy you are very busy. That means more great stuff for us fans to look forward to. Seems like you are in a much more happy mood also, which makes me happy too. 😉
    Take care, Wil.
    Love ya always! ❤

I forgot to mention, you posted a while back that you were working on a secret project with Jonathan Frakes. I hope that is one of the things you are talking about when you say you’re “very busy”. I’d love to see a reunion with you and Jonathan! That would be soooo awesome!!!

Super glad you’re good busy! Don’t forget to take care of yourself though. Even good busy can lead to bad things if you don’t first take care of you. 🙂

Nice board game collection! Speaking of games, have you thought about getting into the game design business?

I’m totes jelly that you’re so busy (in a good way), but it looks like I MAY be getting some more work lined up myself. Script Supervising a student film near the end of the month, working on a feature (behind the camera in an as-yet-unnamed capacity, possibly Scripty) in August, and another one aiming for December. Hopefully lots of other day-player types of gigs in the meantime!

Other than that, I get my steps in and I hop into the cold pool for a lap or two. I saw something about the upcoming Wiggle Waggle Walk, but I have only felines, so I dunno that I’ll be participating. Would be great to meet Marlowe and Seamus irl, tho, so maybe?

Hi Marlowe! You have quite a handsome profile. The shelves in the background look like a ton of fun.

Marlowe is a cool name. Loved it ever since I saw that tv show, Simon and Simon.

Marlowe is such a lovely girl! There can never be too many pictures of such a beautiful dog.

And I know all about being busy. Oy.

She’s such a pretty Pittie! I love it when you posts pictures and/or stories about you dogs. I mean, the rest of your stuff is great, but I’m a dog trainer, so I’m a bit biased, haha!

Glad you’re busy in a good way, and I hope Marlowe’s knee is sufficently recovered so she can get back to her zoomies! My staffie is currently snoring away in her camping chair, but I’m sure will resume her zoomies when I get up to go work downstairs…

Cute puppy! Glad things are going well – folks always say they’d rather be relaxing, but I think we all crave “busy + fulfillment” more, we just don’t get to taste it as often. Summer has been a bust for me. Relocated to be with wife’s family so studying for another bar exam for the last month and the next three weeks, watching these unopened Kickstarter boardgames not get played. All for progress, I suppose….

I hope you had a good time at the Mensa Annual Gathering (from the photo I’m guessing you did) and that you had a chance to stop by the game room and Play More Games!

    I’ve also been busy… Here’s Dorado!

(And his brother Tchavolo, and their friend Hono and a few others) playing the saint’s dedication and street celebration scene from Tony Gatlif’s wonderfully surreal movie: “Latcho Drom”. My favorite of his movies. How Fellini is celebrated and Gatlif is unknown is beyond me. A Gatliff film makes a person feel like they backpacked through Europe for a month in the 70’s. How could it get better?

Anytime I open your blog page to see the dogs, I am happiest. It weird that as soon as I see your pets, I physically feel cheered up. If you ever do a calendar of their photos, then that will be fantastic. I hope your writing is going well. I miss seeing you on “Dark Matter.” After the confusing first episode of season 2, it would have been nice for your character to show up with some help. They need help. Anyway, good to read things for you are in a good way.

Hello. I think Marlowe would really enjoy a weekend in Oregon at the 30th Anniversary of Stand By Me on July 23. Wish you could come. I’m just a fan and live just a few miles away from the films location. I’ll be there cooking some amazing food and having a great time. Thanks for such a great movie that last throughout the years. Sitting here watching it now lol. Take care of YOU first. The rest will follow. Best of luck!

Hey, Marlowe! I heard this great dog joke from Latvian comedian Gatis Kandis: “Voof voof, voof, voof!” (Sorry if I messed up the accent.)

Hey Wil! I find myself coming back to your blog, day after day. I guess what has me hooked, more than just because I am a fan, is your accessibility. I can relate to you, much like many others can I am sure, in more than one way. I think your power is in how you let yourself be vulnerable, to a certain extent, before your readers. It can’t be easy putting your private thoughts to paper, despite being a celeb, and exposing yourself, and to some extent, your family. Kudos to you. You help people. You entertain them. You’re real about. Thanks to you, I have something to blog about tonight! Cheers and have fun man.

My summer is going pretty well! Hope you are having a good time despite all the work 🙂 Do you by any chance have any footage of you hosting the 1989 Kids Choice Awards? There is only about 2 short clips on YouTube and it would be great to see more of you!!
    Thanks <3
