Last year, I donated an autographed Dancing Barefoot to a charity auction benefitting St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
This year, I donated an autographed Just A Geek. If you’re interested in getting an autographed copy, and you’d like to help the children, or your favorite hobby in the world is looking at things on eBay, you can use This Link to the auction to do your thing.

I got an amazing job that conflicts with the Denver Comicon next month, so I can't attend the convention.

Hooray for stupid jokes! *fart*
Wil,
I don’t know if you’d ever consider doing this, but when I saw you mention St. Jude I thought it couldn’t hurt to ask.
I’m a member of the 501st Legion of Stormtroopers. The person who founded it, Albin Johnson, has a daughter with a terminal brain tumor. He thought she was getting better but just today he posted that the doctors have given up hope. You can read his whole letter here: http://maraduh.blogspot.com/2005/06/katie.html
Anyway, I figured it couldn’t hurt to ask if you’d ever consider an auction for just one person or if that is too much for you to take on. We are trying to build her a pink R2 unit before this poor little girl passes away. Her whole story is here: http://forkatie.org
I figure it never hurts to ask. We’ve been raising money for Katie through the 501st this past year, but now that she’s terminal I know her dad would really love to finish up her droid for her. It’s so sad to see this happen to someone who founded a group that does so much for children’s charities yet can’t save his own child.
Even if you can’t do it, it’s nice that I could at least post this here so maybe people will visit her website.
And I would have emailed, but I figure you get a million emails a day and there aren’t many comments on here yet so my chances of having this read were better. Thanks for your time.
anything for the kids. 🙂
Ya know Wil as long as I have been reading your Blog you always seem to somehow find the time to help others…
I find that very cool…I’m sure you’ll do that for many years to come..
Rock on!!!..
Oh on a lighter note, if ya wanna donate one to an unemployed guy (That gave you and X-Arcade)…
Let me know…
Hahahahaha…
Cheers, Wil..

and anything for the troops, to paraphrase girlpoet. 🙂
Used to be a MAW volunteer when I lived in North Carolina, wonderful organization. Granted about 20 wishes to children, mostly trips to Disney and computers.
