omggggg. I can say that had some pretty darn good photoshopping. I think I’m more concerned about who actually DID paint those pictures. disturbing.

I’m embarrassed that I don’t recognize a single one. I think the corridor walking stuff may be from Skin of Evil, on our way to Tasha’s funeral.

I was half expecting Scalzi’s velvet painting of Wesley to show up at some point.
Or did I just make a horrible mistake and give someone ideas?
    Oops.

I know! It works on that “WTF” level, and it also works on that “Wow, I can’t believe someone pulled this off,” level.

    OMFG!!!
Not sure if you saw this or not, but this guy has a whole series of these here: http://www.youtube.com/user/gazorra
Some are better than others, but you should get a kick out of all them.

Make sure you take a look at the other episodes these guys have done, they are all pretty hilarious. Riker’s beard is basically the star of this re-imagined series.
    http://au.youtube.com/profile?user=gazorra&view=videos
The cut to the credits at the end of each one just makes them that much funnier as well.

That is pretty amazing, and it actually made me laugh hard enough to put a tear in my eye.
I want more. Whoever you are, please make more.

It can’t be; the grey cadet uniform makes it a season 2, mäybe early season 3. And the birthday party was from the beginning of “Parallels”, which I only remember because it’s my favorite episode. That’s all I got.
I think the editor took extra-special measures to hide anything a mortal fan could recognize. Otherwise I just know they’d have used Data screaming “Perhaps there is something wrong with YOU!” from that episode where he had a romantic relationship.

You, sir, have pwned me at Identifying Star Trek Episodes.
    Well done. Well done.

  20. Rob Tracy says:
    1 February, 2009 at 10:54 am

Man this makes me want to pull out my Premier Pro and start messing with the past of other shows. I’ve always wanted to explore KITT’s inappropriate, homosexual overtures to Michael Knight.
I think if someone wants to do some Trek related mashups, and happens to own the Season of “Fraiser” when Patrick Stewart guest starred as a gay play director, you could have a lot of fun cutting and pasting Mr. Stewart’s Frasier dialogue into Trek scenes.
Being a huge Halo fan I’ve always wanted to switch out Arbiter dialogue for some of Keith David’s crazier characters (start with some “King” from Platoon then move on to a little “Chronicles of Riddick” and then cap it off with crazy Louis Fedders from “Men at Work). I’ve always wanted to see the Arbiter say “We’re gonna get high, high!”

That was awesome, not sure what the best bit was. Worf peering round the door, the look of confusion/disgust at data’s picture or Beverleys shake of the head that means they have to jettison data and blow him up…as the credits roll!

  29. Will Hindmarch says:

Geordi’s wearing a separate uniform tunic, so it’s got to be S3. The three of them — Wes, Geordi, Troi — makes me think they’re going to see Lal in “The Offspring.” Plus, that leaves them standing in the doorway with appropriate expressions.
I’m surprised I can still do that from memory.

    Ensign, laugh factor 9.9. Engage!
Holy s**t that was funny. The coup de grace being delivered by a photon torpedo at the end elicited a laugh I haven’t laughed for a good long while. I’ll definitely have to check out the other videos that clever cut-up artist posted to YouTube. Thanks for sharing this.

    2. This is what they should show at half time. And every Christmas.
    3. I’m p’d m’self.

  32. angie k says:

The shots of Wesley, Geordi, and Deanna walking down the hallway are from Season 3’s “The Offspring” where Data makes Lal. Wesley is wearing his West Point uniform because the episode takes place before “Menage a Troi” the episode where he finally gets promoted to full ensign.
Also, this is what I’m going to watch now any time I want to feel like I’m in bat country. I love the internet!

  33. TimPDX says:

The episode in the corridor is from S3:E16 titled “The Offspring” — where Data creates a daughter. You were all called to Data’s lab and everyone met up in the corridors. When you opened the lab door, Data wasn’t ready yet and closed the door.
For a refresher of the episode:

  39. DrGaellon says:

@Rob Tracy: you could also use clips from his appearance in the movie /Jeffrey/, where Patrick was equally campy.
@Wilw: has the same general WTFness as “Scary Mary,” the Mary Poppins trailer recut as a horror film.

Yeah, I totally remember watching that episode one Sunday night. I remember being slightly uncomfortable because my grandmother kept asking why the horse was out of focus…
