I'm too busy to write about how incredibly awesome my trip to Seattle was, but I just found out that kyle + rosemary is online, and I want everyone in the world to watch it, because I'm so proud of it:
Find more videos like this on Channel Frederator RAW
(Thanks to reader squonkmama for the link)
Aw, that was too cute!
Wil; once again, you prove that you RAWK.
That was…great/cool/awesome/epic/etc.etc.etc. Words fail to encompass the magnitude.
I think you need to say “Who’s got two thumbs and is made of WIN? THIS GUY!” ^_^
Well.
A) I have an account now. I have read this website for a LONG time as a lurker, but this was sufficiently awesome that I felt the need to comment.
B) My dumb comment – Everyone knows you are an actor, and are now a pretty well-established voice actor, but OH MY GOD. I am not an authority, or even experienced in any way other than having watched a billion cartoons in my life, but YOU SIR! You knocked that one clear out of the park. There are metaphorical cars in the parking lot with spider-webbed metaphorical windshields because that one was perfect. The teenage quaver to the voice, and the implied uncertainty in the cadence…that was it. That’s what makes artwork on cells (or pixels on a harddrive – whatever) come to life. Kyle is a thousand kids I knew in high school, including me. And then Sir Horace…
Alright, I’ve gone on too long as it is. Excellent, excellent work. Thank you so much.
Wow, sir. Simply wow. Add a computer to me in the 90s and that was my life.
o to be a teen and crushing again. this definitely brought back that wonderfully electric feeling. super total yes.
Ok, I’ve been lurking for a couple of years now. I signed up tonight just to tell you how much I enjoyed Kyle + Rosemary. Like others here, I was teary at the end.
Wil, your blog is amazing. Thanks for sharing with us.
Aww. Aw! How sweet!
This was wonderful!
Aww that was so cute! You done a good job Wil! So does this mean that the show is airing on tv or not?
You’re welcome, Wil!! I’m a regular reader of Cartoon Brew and for some reason K&R popped into my mind so I had to do a bit ‘o Googling.
I”m glad all your readers could see it too!
..and thanks for the blog, I’m a regular reader, and it brightens my day!
How cute was that?
That was so great! The goth and the geek – I loved it 🙂
Best bit: “I’m fifteen, and a sophomore at High School” in Sir Horace voice.
Other best bit: everything else.
Awesome cartoon, Wil. That would be cool if they could make it a series of some kind….anyhow, thanks for sharing, it was great.
*shoots fist in air*
That was so good! Romeo and Juliet without the icky blood and death.
Is this a series? Please say this is a series.
That was fantastic in every aspect! I knew you had a great superhero voice, but I had no idea you could pull off such a believable teen-aged voice. You have every reason to be proud of this work.
Nice job and something to be proud of by everyone.
LOVED IT!!!!!
Hahahahahahaha.
Well played, sir.
GREAT work Wil. That character was totally believable. You are rightly proud of this.
Wil that was great!
Some sad news: http://tinyurl.com/cfl8gh
Dave Arneson has passed away. He’s probably more responsible for FRPing than Gary Gygax was. He will be missed.
HFS that was so full of awesome there’s a puddle of spilt awesomesauce all over the floor, 2 inches deep.
Evidence:
Klaus Badelt soundtrack!
Sword of the Kings
The Nightmare before Easter poster (Tim Burton’s alice in wonderland, anyone?)
And Jentle ‘buttfondler’ Pheonix doing voicework (Yay Bupu!)
Charlie ‘the flash’ Schlatter!
And was that Alex Polinsky from Charles in Charge??
And
o course Mr Wheaton kicking ass on computer, with sword, and even wearing lace
Thank you for sharing this! Touching and hilarious. Again.
ALso; loved the R&J foreshadow: Verona High School in the establishing shot, the italian piazza belltower architecture, the big dance coming up (MAMBO!!MAMBO!)
Patrick Stewart best watch out, his top-dawg-ST-Shakespeare-Cred is no longer 100% secure!
That was stunning work… The animation, voice work, and everything.
Hello Wil, I thought it would be impossible to reach you by email, so I thought I would post this here for your fans to see.
I just wrote up a report of your reading/Q&A from ECCC. It is viewable of my geeky little blog right here: http://www.hypergeek.ca/2009/04/my-eccc-adventures-day-2-wil-wheaton.html
Thanks, I just thought I would share this.
Ed Kaye
Good stuff, Wil. I’ve got geekbumps…er…goosebumps!
I just died of so much awesome. 😀
And I love that when Lunarella asks Sir Horace about himself, he goes and rattles off a list of all his l33t gear. x)
That was so fun, I had to watch it twice! And, did I hear a bit of Patrick Stewart creep into Horace’s voice once in a while? Or is it because I watched a TNG episode last night, and he’s still fresh in my head?
That was *wonderful*.
Awesome man! \oo/
Aw.. that was really cool! Great work on the voice acting!
I just got the opportunity to watch it. Well done, sir!
Well gee, here’s another good job/well done.
Ed Kaye’s account sure makes getting to a con paramount on my bucket list. You must have had the best time in Seattle. Enjoy Penguicon… does that really say… Great Scott! It does say Detroit!!!!!! omg omg omg omg omg.
Bring tons of stuff to sell.

I’m new to your blog, so I don’t know the story behind this one… but I loved the video. The animation and voices were all perfect – kudos to everyone involved.
Whil, I’m so glad Kyle + Rosemary = <3 finally was released! I had such high hopes for this show, I was watching Nick for ads — okay I was paying my eight year old to watch for ads. Instead, he wanted paid for finding you on Ben 10 and Batman.
The short was well worth it. Your voice acting in this one was distinct and well thought out. I loved the in-game voice the most.
Kudos to the entire team!
That was a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing it.
Wil. That was adorable. … Awwwwww.
I loved this, it was just so cool. I played it for my two teenageers and they thought it was cool and gave me that look, like, whoa, Dad did not just show us something cool…no way.
AWWWWwwww that was sooo sweet. Wil always a pleasure to listen to your work. But I have to say that the highlight for me was the Leroy Jenkins charge. I laughed so loud my coworkers came running. Of course they didn’t get it, but that’s their problem. I mean a nod to Leroy Jenkins on Nick that is just too cool. Can’t wait to show my husband tonight…which of course means that everyone in his guild will have watched this by morning. YEAH!!!!!!! Spreading the word of WIL!!!
Oh, that was so neat. And you should be proud of it.
B”H
Loved it!
This was very awesome, Will. You are so dynamic with your voice! I knew you were good, but this kind of proves it to anyone who wondered.
You should be proud – great performance!!! It was an awesome short all around, great writing, great drawing and great acting/voices. I loved the little touches that make you want to watch it over and over to catch everything, for example how Rosemary is taking notes with a quill and inkpot rather than a pen. It makes me want to see more, but it’s true it wrapped up nicely so the story really was told already. Anyway, Kudos!!
