50,000 Monkeys at 50,000 Typewriters Can't Be Wrong

Because if you’re going to be evil, just go all the way to chaotic.

  • Television

I love these alignment charts that are currently going around the Internets at the speed of meme; it isn't very often that D&D and pop culture references overlap, after all. As you can imagine, I especially love this one:

Ac-bbt

There are several other charts at Mighty God King, where they're in the middle of a week of alignment charts.

(Thanks, Melissa!)

This is awesome! I believe I will now need this in poster format.

Epic, sir. I very much approve!

Brilliant!! I think it especially fits that Sheldon is Lawful Neutral and Amy is True Neutral. Completely fitting.

I needed a laugh today. Thanks for that Mr. Wheaton. 🙂

I’m afraid I will have to begin using “Hello, Sheldon.” in real-life conversation.

I had hoped this might be a cross-over between alignments and your character on Leverage, but even so it’s still awesome.

    Aw, poor Simon. 🙂

  10. Alex Pope says:

Howard, Neutral Evil? Ha! Leslie Winkle, Lawful Evil? Ha! Evil Wil has more evil in one raised eyebrow than they have in the entirety of their characters’ backstories.

Seriously quite clever and well done. 🙂

    heh, very nice.
That site doesn’t appear to have the Dr Who version. I’m sure you’ve seen it, but just in case:

of course the ‘evil’ alignments aren’t really right for Dr Who.
So what alignment would Wesley Crusher be?

Hey Wil, It just occured to me that you are the only TNG cast member making TV appearances these days.

This is so fantastic. I never before realized that the BBT characters so perfectly filled out an alignment chart. Sadly, I’m not entirely sure my wife will get the joke, because even though she loves BBT, she’s still not geek enough to understand alignments…

    Simon? I meant Howard. Actor/Character mixup, d’oh.

Speaking of evil, here is a dose of good intentioned evil. I saw this today and it me go “Awe!”, so I thought I would share it with you.

That’s okay–I have the same problem with my husband. I thought about telling him, all excited, that I got name-checked on Wil Wheaton’s blog today, but…

I beg to differ. I would have put Evil Wil in the Neutral Evil bucket, but hey, it’s not my poster.

Back in my early gaming days in the early 80’s I had a plastic case that held my main rule books and characters, it had a sticker that said “Chaotic Evil means never having to say you’re sorry.”
Sadly I haven’t been able to find that case recently, I would like to find it as it has my original rules to Mercenaries, Spies, and Private Eyes from when I was working at Flying Buffalo.

    Mr. Wheaton (Wil):
I am under contract to edit a new book entitled The Big Bang Theory and Philosophy. I am wondering if you’d be interested in writing the foreword for this volume. I sent you an email at your old blog. If you are interested, please either respond to that message or reply here.
    Thank you,
    Dean Kowalski
