My husband & I are studying Japanese and will now be getting and playing Tokaido. So, arigatou gozaimasu! Also, Maplecroft sounds amazing.

Rather disappointing. The G&S site reads new Tabletop on Thursday and not every other week. Especially since on indiegogo it was claimed “Each week, a new array of geeky guests join host Wil Wheaton to learn a new game [..]”. Well, with so much money you can probably afford to screw the audience like the rest of the big industry. :-(( And don’t tell the obvious like no tabletop this week, but give a reason why. Either why you change the schedule or mislead in the ads.

Wow Laura, it’s a shame that someone takes time to make an awesome show for you to watch “almost” every week and because of a slight miss leading of a comment you can do nothing but complain that they are screwing you….nice. By the way I love the show and even when there isn’t a new one I appreciate and am excited even more for the next, keep them coming!!!

They don’t simple do a show for me to watch. They got paid quite handsomely upfront, which is okay, but since we paid, we have a right to complain. And it is more than one slight misleading comment. If the mislead was unintentionally, it could be easily be corrected, but I see no explanation or correction in this regard, just some fans who gloss over it and/or complain to everyone who mentions it.

I quite enjoy the gag reels and am just as happy to see them in my inbox as the full game episodes. Be careful though, because if you complain about the complainers the wrath will strike you down. I also learned today that you can pick and choose when to apply the ‘don’t be a dick’ rule. Good to know for the future.

Not exactly related to this post, but I just found out my twitter account has been blocked from following yours. What gives? I really don’t understand why this has happened, and it’s really not cool.

Well, I supported the Indiegogo campaign and am very happy with TableTop being back! Every other week is fine, why complain?
Keep up the good work Wil!

While I would love for there to be a new episode of Tabletop every week, I am perfectly happy with the episode – gag reel – episode schedule they have now. The reason for this is there are 20 episodes; if they play them every week then the season will be over in 20 weeks, whereas this way we will have new Tabletop content for 40 weeks, almost a full year.

I understand Lara. It was stated that every week a show is shown and the gag reel was to a big part advertisement for other stuff. It is disappointing. Wil, why don’t you give an explanation and correct the way the schedule is presented?
