Tabletop S04E04: Tiny Epic Galaxies

  • Games
  • Tabletop

I shouldn’t like this game, because how successful you are at a thing is usually determined by the roll of some dice … and yet, I really, really like it.

Tiny Epic Galaxies packs a lot of fun into a tiny package (its name is both clever and accurate!) and I got to play it with some really neat people on Tabletop.

This is a pretty funny episode, too. I hope you enjoy it!

I immediately put the game on my Amazon wishlist after watching this. It looks like so much fun!

Also, Mayim Bialik is ridiculously adorkable.

It would be nice to add a link to the website or at least the amazon listing for the games you play in the comments. There are a number of tiny epic games available and at least one listing for tiny epic galaxies at a staggering $250 or so. I figure the $35 version will suit me just fine. Links to starter packs would be useful for those things that have add ons. Just my tiny epic thoughts. Thanks for all you do.

      That’s a great note! I’ve just added a link.

While the Galaxies may be Tiny, the TableDerp you put in the header is truly Epic!

The ep was a blast to watch – it’s great to see people genuinely having fun and enjoying the game.

On the other hand, I’m still waiting for someone to produce the TableTop Settlers of Catan Jr / Cards Against Humanity mashup…

Husband and I watched this last night and really liked it. He’s the board gamer and I’m the muggle – and I just wanted to say thanks for making these games more accessible for me. Watching you guys do it and being able to get a grasp on rules and gameplay before jumping in makes all the difference. (You’re helping my marriage – seriously!)

I can’t begin to tell you how muc I enjoy TableTop. I love watching the games and your choice of guesses is wonderful. So bright, funny and charming.

Yes, links to game purchase info would be great! And even greater would be where to get the rockin’ purple shirt with those uber fantastic ships (though I prefer the Enterprise E, shhhh).

Mayim is my goddess. She is brilliant and precious and I already THOUGHT I loved her a ton and now I love her several tons more. For your Supernatural tumblr comment, you get POINTS. This was a great and hilarious episode! 🙂 is now really itching to get back to playing more games and may have to grab friends and plan a weekly/monthly get-together again

Also, I TOTALLY want to play Tiny Epic Stabby Hobos 🙂

Hey Wil, you know how dinosaurs are awesome, right? Have you seen Dinosaur Island on Kickstarter? I would genuinely love to know your opinion. The retro art work (in my opinion) is fantastic.

P.S. you are the reason I got in to modern board gaming and I thank you so very much for that. I have found a new hobby but more importantly many new friends.

This and Quarriors are great games with RNG mechanics that actually compliment the game. I’m trying to think of more but am drawing blanks.

    Awesome episode as always 🙂
This game seems like a lot of fun and would love to try it.

I’m currently working in Singapore and found a game shop with an entire wall dedicated to you and your show 🙂
They had all the games you’ve played. AWESOME!
    Sent you picture on messenger.

Looking forward to next episode 🙂

You say you shouldn’t like this game because you need to roll dice. Well I just wrote you a mail about a strategy game where you don’t need to roll dice. Please look out for Full Moon Down – Tsukuyumi in your mail inbox.
