50,000 Monkeys at 50,000 Typewriters Can't Be Wrong

Fury of Dracula!

  • Tabletop

Here are two of my very favorite episodes from this season of Tabletop.

I’m delightfully busy at the moment, so instead of writing all about how much I love this game and a whole bunch of other things, I’m going to hit publish, eat breakfast, and go to work.

That was too fun, Wil. You don’t get to win often enough!

Um, you might want to delete that spoiler, so others will enjoy it too… 🙁

I don’t see a way for me to delete my own comment
why would you read the comments before watching the videos?
I didn’t actually say whether he won or not, just that he doesn’t get to win often enough. So who spoiled it?

Wow. First you say you couldn’t delete your comment, which means you actually looked for a way to do that. (And why would you look if you didn’t think it was a spoiler?) Then you blame me for reading your spoiler, and then blame me for the spoiler itself. Do you by any chance work for the White House Press Office? Because that’s some Spicer-level gymnastics right there…

okay, wow. You ASKED me to delete my comment, so yeah, I looked for a way to do that. But I don’t believe I spoiled anything for anyone else. I commented on your comment as a courtesy, to let you know I’d tried to fill your request, and in the absence of a way to do that, to explain what you may not have understood in the first place.

Believe what you want. I enjoyed the video, and I think Wil should win more of the TableTop games he gets to play on our behalf.

That vampire you took home in your pocket when you were a kid…was it TSR’s Vampyre? https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/2216/vampyre

I really wanted that when I was a kid, but I never got it. I did get They’ve Invaded Pleasantville, though. That was a lot of fun.

I watched these episodes last night, and I agree – they really are my favorite episodes of Tabletop (I’ve seen them all, too)! Ify, Amy, and Grant were amazing players, and Wil, you played the villain very well, as usual.

I really liked Ify’s style of play – fun was the goal. I played a game recently with a player who is a great guy, but was taking the game waaaaaay too seriously, and it ruined the fun for everyone. Ify’s experimental, “let’s see what happens” attitude was refreshing.

Agreed – fun should be the goal.

I wish that this game was still available. Buying a copy now is going to cost upwards of two hundred bucks.

Barnes & Nobles has copies at MSRP. Still costs a pretty penny, but not $200.

These are actually my new favorites. MOVE OVER STONE AGE!

The narrative you had running with Amy was amazing! Really made these two episodes top notch. I was rooting for you at the end, but I wanted a more dramatic finish :D. It would have been far cooler to have eliminated one of them for the win.

Just played this tonight };[ it was effectively a draw as we can’t remember if we advanced the track one on week 2-3. Totally ganked two hunters though…

These 2 episodes and the game itself are by far my favourite of TableTop so far. The chemistry with Amy, Grant and Ify was great, everyone was having so much fun and I can’t wait to play this game with my friends.
