Okay, so. I'm developing this Star Trek Lower Decks fan fiction I call The Wedding Crusher.
This is about Congo Bongo, except for the parts that aren't.
I haven't actually listened to a full album in a really, really long time. Like, other than Pink Floyd records, which must be listened to in their entirety, always (I will not be taking questions at this time), it just hasn't occurred to me to listen to, say, all of In Utero.
When I was young, I thought dudes in their 50s were lame and had nothing to offer. Now that I'm one of those dudes, I understand what a gift it is when you ask me to share my experiences.
But Yoda tells me there is no try… In seriousness that’s a wise philosophy that I actually want to adopt.
Trying is more important than doing.
Ahh it’s ok dude 🙂 try a protractor for the circle. I’ve trouble free handing circles.
I like that you signed it. That way, 1000 years from now when this is hanging in The Louvre, humanity’s alien overlords will know who the artist was.
Everyone is a creative person. Some just survive being told the contrary.
BB-Egg, WIP.
I apply this to running all the time. I am quite passionate about the sport but have convinced myself that I will never run farther than a half marathon or faster than a 9 minute mile.
R2-D2 is a Crip.
BB-8 is a Blood.
Now this whole effing Star Wars tomfoolery FINALLY makes sense, right?
You’re welcome, America.
West side!
Not good at drawing either…
But I can Gimp and YTMND like a straight up baller.

Haha – cool.
It’s a wonderful part of life to do things you can’t do well. My wife and I call it “stumbling forward”. A life well-lived is a series of stumbles punctuated by brief moments of brilliance and understanding. Really, it would be boring otherwise.
Speaking of drawing, this is one of the most fun Ted Talks I’ve seen in a while. It’s right up there with Ze Frank’s “Are You Human”. Grab a pencil & paper – it’s fun – promise. And I love how he ends it. So true.
If you never do anything you’re not good at, you’ll never be good at anything…or probably have much fun.
Looking at it made me smile. I am sure that I am not alone in that reaction. Thanks for sharing.
Wil, may I please have it ?
I’ll place it in a very nice frame and keep it on the Steinway.
Makes me want to try out doing that paper-lantern make for BB8 😀 (too busy trying to work out how to do the teeth for a Mimic Dice Chest currently)
thats the nice thing about art. you can create it -no matther how hard you believe you can’t.
and your BB8 is pretty neat!
love your drawings :3
I love BB8 yours is so cute! I believe there is such beauty in the imperfection.
This is an example of “It’s important to be easily amused,” isn’t it?
Still waiting to see your thoughts on the Force Awakens!
Force Awakens is a bit of a disappointment… The magic is missing.
well, I guess that was inevitable…
