dead trees give no shelter – audiobook

  • Books

If you enjoy listening to me read you a story, and you enjoy the stories I write, I have something that may be relevant to your interests…

It’s one hour and forty minutes long, and is available for five bucks at my bandcamp thingy with no DRM because DRM sucks.

Cool! Now I have both the Kindle book and the audiobook!

Great! I’ve enjoyed the read and will give the audio as a gift to my friends who don’t do text books.

I have to say I did really enjoy listening to “Lock In”.

Thank you! I just finished listening to “The Collapsing Empire” this morning. I really enjoy your audio performances, whether is a podcast, audiobook, or voice acting. So thank you for taking the time to perform this piece as well. I look forward to listening to it.

Wow, just wow. Stephen King would be proud. Impeccably performed as always.

Thanks a lot for making this version. I have very little time to read, but listening in the car helps me get my reading fix.

Thank you! I already had the ebook version but couldn’t find any time to read and I already enjoy your audiobook performances very much, so this is perfect 🙂

I downloaded bandcamp for the first time, so I could listen to retrowave/synthwave and I’m super happy about that. Then I saw all your audiobooks on there, and was pretty geeked to find that Bandcamp was smart enough to know I already bought your paper book version, and was able to listen to it instead. I prefer audiobooks where possible, because I can listen in my car.
    1. The toddlers were silent the entire book – amazing.
    2. I finished it today and I really liked it. I sat in my car at work listening to the last 7-8 minutes because I didn’t want to turn it off. Great work, Wil!
    3. Bonus points for Cedar Point. Nice research.

Over the last year or so, I've had the tremendous privilege of narrating some outstanding audiobooks that have just been a joy to work on from start to finish. One of them is Self Help, by Ben Winters. It's narrated by me and features Ron Perlman in a sensational performance.
